About Us

The Centre of Excellence will carry out training the trainers program focuses on electricity, automation, and renewable energy for vocational teachers and laboratory technicians with total target 320 teachers trained and 50,000 students graduate for the next five years.

Besides Centre of Excellence, Schneider Electric Indonesia in cooperation with the Government of Indonesia and The Ministry of Education - France, will also gradually upgrade laboratory facilities to up to 184 vocational schools across Indonesia until 2022.

Electrical Installation

Electrical Installation program includes 6 training modules:

  • Basic Electricity
  • Safety and Security
  • Building Installation
  • Building Automation
  • Basic of Energy Quality and Energy Efficiency
  • Basic of Solar panels Systems

The target is to upgrade skills and knowledges to ensure the quality of the installation, preventing faults that can provoke electrical shock to people and building fires. This program introduces the next generation of building installation: the smart home systems.

Industrial Automation

Industrial Installation program includes 5 training modules:

  • Basic Electricity
  • Safety and Security
  • Industrial Installation
  • Industrial Automation
  • Energy Quality and Energy Efficiency

The target is to upgrade skills and knowledges to ensure the quality of the industrial Automation systems and introducing the transition to the next step of 4.0 factory.

Renewable Energy

Renewable Energy program is focused on the solar systems and solutions to provide energy at the lowest cost for the environment. It includes 56 training modules:

  • Basic Electricity
  • Safety and Security
  • Building Installation
  • Basic of Energy Quality and Energy Efficiency
  • Solar Systems

The target is to upgrade skills and knowledges to ensure the quality of the solar system installation, design and implement its maintenance.

Safety and Security

One of the most important module’s programs is the module "Safety & Security". Worker in electrical field must be aware about dangers of the electricity. The uses of specific rules are mandatory as well as the use of the Personal Protective Equipment. But the protection is not only for the worker, it is also to protect people against electrical shocks and prospect property against fires dues to faults in electrical installation.

Soft Skills

Be able to communicate, write report, doing a presentation, have a right behaviour in industry … are the key point for a prosperous working life. The CoE EARE program includes a soft skill module to review these topics.
