The Centre of Excellence will carry out training the trainers program focuses on electricity, automation, and renewable energy for vocational teachers and laboratory technicians with total target 240 teachers trained and 10 800 students graduate for the next five years.
Besides Centre of Excellence, Schneider Electric Indonesia in cooperation with the Government of Indonesia will also gradually upgrade laboratory facilities to up to 184 vocational schools across Indonesia until 2023.

Teachers gain experience in seeing how the production system happened in the Factory. Teachers gain insight about Industry working culture from the Schneider Electric employee.
Each selected school, with the help of the teacher trained will become “Regional Center of Excellence” with the aim to disseminate knowledge, skills, best practices … to the other teachers and local partners.
The Centre of Excellence has been created in the frame of partnership between The Ministry of Education Republic of France, The Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia, and The company Schneider Electric with its Foundation.
Under the "Campus Pro International" scheme, The Ministry of Education Republic of France, The Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia, and The company Schneider Electric have signed in August 2017 a MoU to create the CoE EARE (Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation, and Renewable Energy).
We are training trainers, updating skills, knowledges, and handing on competencies in the field of Electrical Installation, Industrial Automation, and Renewable Energy.
The education has target to provide every student skills, competencies, knowledges needed to success in working life. For success, trainers need to be trained in pedagogy techniques, technologies in order to help them to update and adapt their teaching methods and contents. This is the aim of the TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) and The CoE EARE is part of it.
This week, we had the honour of hosting and meeting members of Schneider Electric Indonesia - Cikarang Plant at our office located at BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. The objectives of this visit were : - to continue the discussion on how to harmonise industry needs and skills in vocational schools. - to work on joint training courses that could support new recruits. - to offer internships with industrial subjects to higher education establishments.
We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and the French Department of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Professor Tri Indri Hardini, Dean of the Faculty of Language and Literature, signed the document with Mr. Manuel AZIBI, Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy.
We are pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant and one of CoE’s SMKs located in Jawa Tengah, SMKN 2 Kebumen. The MoU will strengthen collaboration between industry and vocational school in the employment and improving soft & hard skills.
