A moving conductor in a magnetic field is the seat of an electromotive force (EMF) whose direction is given by the rule of the three fingers of the left hand. If a turn turns in the magnetic field, the two conductors are subjected to two additional electromotive forces. A generator is made. The system is reversible, ie if a current is passed through the coil immersed in a magnetic field; the coil is subjected to two forces that are added. We realize an engine. A driven DC machine operates as a generator, and if it is powered, it operates as a motor. It is REVERSIBLE. | ![]() |
