First Week of Indonesian SMK Teacher Training in France

Following the visit of Campus des métiers et des qualifications PlastiCampus & Campus des métiers et des qualifications Microtechniques et Systèmes Intelligents delegates to Indonesia in March 2023, an invitation was sent from CoE EARE to Indonesian vocational teachers as a part of our hashtag#cooperation international, Franco-Indonesian ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉ project led by PlastiCampus, which aims to develop international cooperation.

The invitation was then accepted by some some vocational schools and French industry regarding the formation proposed, practical activity, teaching method and also study & work manner. The first week, we had the opportunity to visit several vocational schools and French industries as following :

Indonesian delegates were very pleased to discover French history, art and culture. Moreover, the most important is we were able to have a great exchange with teachers from French vocational schools regarding some practical activity.

Agreement of Collaboration between CoE EARE & POLMAN Bandung

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB). Professor Pipit Anggraeni, Vice President of Academic Affairs signed the document with Manuel AZIBI, CoE EAREโ€™s co-director. In the future, we will work together to increase practical activities, on educational projects for students and also offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality. The agreement collaboration covers areas of cooperation related to, such as : - sharing laboratories to explore more laboratory practical activities - collaborative learning, work on projects can enhance student learning - offering students internships that can enhance student in professional experience We would like to thank Pipit Anggraeni, Mohammad Nurdin, Setyawan Ajie Sukarno, Nuryanti Sumarno, Hilda Khoirunnisa & Dini Hadiani for the warm welcome and amazing hospitality!

ITB Student at CoE EARE for EnergyLab

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is pleased to welcome Michael Suhendra, an Indonesian engineering student from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, for a 6-month internship from February to August 2023. As part of this internship programme, he will work on the Energy Lab project. This project is a continuation of a previous project called XR Operator Advisor project which allows us to manipulate Schneider Electric equipment with augmented reality technology. The idea of the project is to provide a virtual reality assembly guide for newly employed operators in the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang. As part of this project, we had the opportunity to visit the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang again, in order to establish the precise objectives of the study. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Joko Sutopo and his team for the warm welcome they have always given us and we look forward to working with them again.

Student Intern at CoE EARE for Translation Job

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is currently hosting Hanif Adjani Prasanna Putra, a student from Universitas Padjadjaran for a three (3) month internship from March to early May 2023, to carry out translations of educational resources. Indeed, Hanif is helping us to translate from French to Indonesian, the educational resources created by French experts from different CMQ (Campus des Mรฉtiers et des Qualifications) partners of the CoE. At the end of the day, teachers and students from vocational high schools (SMK), will be able to directly use practical activities adapted to the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school.
