First Week of Indonesian SMK Teacher Training in France

Following the visit of Campus des métiers et des qualifications PlastiCampus & Campus des métiers et des qualifications Microtechniques et Systèmes Intelligents delegates to Indonesia in March 2023, an invitation was sent from CoE EARE to Indonesian vocational teachers as a part of our hashtag#cooperation international, Franco-Indonesian ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉ project led by PlastiCampus, which aims to develop international cooperation.

The invitation was then accepted by some some vocational schools and French industry regarding the formation proposed, practical activity, teaching method and also study & work manner. The first week, we had the opportunity to visit several vocational schools and French industries as following :

Indonesian delegates were very pleased to discover French history, art and culture. Moreover, the most important is we were able to have a great exchange with teachers from French vocational schools regarding some practical activity.

New Electrical Installation Training Batch for SMK teachers

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received the batch 1 with 19 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Electrical Installation. The trainees will follow 4 weeks training course from February to March 2023. Our Co-Director and Technical Expert of France ร‰ducation international, Ministรจre de l'ร‰ducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the SENAR project with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees. Currently, we are analyzing the results of the feedback that we have distributed in several vocational high schools (SMK).

Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant's visit

This week, we had the honour of hosting and meeting members of Schneider Electric Indonesia - Cikarang Plant at our office located at BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. The objectives of this visit were : - to continue the discussion on how to harmonise industry needs and skills in vocational schools. - to work on joint training courses that could support new recruits. - to offer internships with industrial subjects to higher education establishments.

Ancora Foundation's visit

On Wednesday 16 August 2023, The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud had an honor to receive Ahmad Zakky Habibie, Ratri Pratiwi & Dina Fatia from Ancora Foundation. Ancora Foundation is a philantrophic organization with an overriding objective to light fire in the minds of the young Indonesia through education. The purpose of this visit is to see our facilities and also to discuss some issues regarding the education. Also, thank you to Aswita W. Saragih & Ancora Foundation for the overwhelming support that made this bilateral project success.
