Release of Retired Staff in the CoE EARE

On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field. This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry. This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives. On 9th September 2022, The Electrical Engineering Study Program of the University Of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), precisely from CoE (Center of Excellence) Solar Power Plant (PLTS) just held a visit activity in order to seek the potential collaboration with Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. In this occasion, we had the opportunity to present our facilites and our equipment in order to establish the new cooperation such as internship at Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. We are looking forward for the further initiatives and establish future collaboration.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received the batch 1 with 19 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Electrical Installation. The trainees will follow 4 weeks training course from February to March 2023. Our Co-Director and Technical Expert of France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the SENAR project with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees. Currently, we are analyzing the results of the feedback that we have distributed in several vocational high schools (SMK).
