Visit from SMK 24 PGRI Jakarta

This week, we had the honour of hosting and meeting members of Schneider Electric Indonesia - Cikarang Plant at our office located at BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. The objectives of this visit were : - to continue the discussion on how to harmonise industry needs and skills in vocational schools. - to work on joint training courses that could support new recruits. - to offer internships with industrial subjects to higher education establishments.

The Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to meet with the Head of Staff, Strategy and Business Planning Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan HP Indonesia, Florence Lim Lai at our offices on 22 September 2022. The purpose of this visit was to present our projects, observe our laboratory equipment and discuss the opportunity for future cooperation between CoE EARE and HP Indonesia. On this occasion, HP Education presented its products and solutions for innovation in teaching and learning. It was also an opportunity to showcase our work in augmented and virtual reality as part of our skills dissemination projects in all 34 provinces of Indonesia. GFA Consulting Group, which was mandated by the Swiss government, again sent trainees to the Center of Excellence. This time, it's the turn of instructors from Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK or Vocational Training Center) who will take part in the Advanced Solar Energy Training for a duration of two weeks starting from February 14 to 25, 2022.
