Visit from SMK 24 PGRI Jakarta

CoE EARE is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant and one of CoE's SMKs, SMKN 2 Bawang. This partnership represents a successful collaboration between industry and vocational schools. The aim of the partnership is to increase employee engagement through student internships, employment opportunities and on-the-job training for teachers. In terms of education, we organise seminars or sharing sessions with experts and we establish links with the curriculum, so that teachers and students can familiarise themselves with Schneider Electric's tools and standards of work (SOPs). As a result, they will be better prepared to work in SE.

Our co-director and technical expert from France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to visit one of the schools renovated by HP Education. The objective of this visit is to continue our cooperation between CoE EARE, HP Education and SEI, for the equipment of a new laboratory. On this occasion, we were able to observe a primary school class with students in full activity and to get an idea of the materials that could be used in our laboratory. We would like to thank Aswita W. Saragih Florence Lim Lai Alvin Reza Keany Edessias and all the members of Baru State Elementary School 1 for this wonderful visit. We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB). Professor Pipit Anggraeni, Vice President of Academic Affairs signed the document with Manuel AZIBI, CoE EARE’s co-director. In the future, we will work together to increase practical activities, on educational projects for students and also offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality. The agreement collaboration covers areas of cooperation related to, such as : - sharing laboratories to explore more laboratory practical activities - collaborative learning, work on projects can enhance student learning - offering students internships that can enhance student in professional experience We would like to thank Pipit Anggraeni, Mohammad Nurdin, Setyawan Ajie Sukarno, Nuryanti Sumarno, Hilda Khoirunnisa & Dini Hadiani for the warm welcome and amazing hospitality!
