The launch of the tenth link and match vocational education program in the West Java region this year involved 2,604 SMKs and 885 industries. This has exceeded the target made by the Ministry of Industry, involved 2,600 SMKs and 750 industries. The Minister of Industry, Airlangga Hartarto, gave the highest appreciation to all SMK and industry parties who were enthusiastically involved in the strategic program. This was stated at PT. Indofood Barokah Makmur Award, Sukabumi, Monday (18/3).

We are pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant and one of CoE’s SMKs located in Jawa Tengah, SMKN 2 Kebumen. The MoU will strengthen collaboration between industry and vocational school in the employment and improving soft & hard skills. This collaboration will provide students and teachers from SMKN 2 Kebumen with job opportunities, soft skills training through workshop provided by experts from SE, student internship that will be offered starting the August. Our co-director, Manuel AZIBI, finally met the Schneider Electric France team. It was a pleasure to meet the team in person after working together on virtual reality and augmented reality project. In this team, we were able to meet Cédric Hénon, who was our student intern at the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy for about 4 months in 2022 and who continues to work for Schneider Electric.
