Visit to Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta

On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field. This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry. This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives. It was an honor for Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from students from SMKN 1 Banyuasin III Palembang, South Sumatra at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, Thursday (15/09/2022). The visit was received by Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of the Electrical Department and the team from CoE EARE. In this occasion, as usual we presented our facilites and laboratories in order to show and explain the utility of our equipment. The presentation was interesting and the students actively asked and listened to explanations about the equipment. For this visit, the students accompanied by their teachers with a purpose of visit was to seek a new insight and motivate their students to be able to obtain information about electricity, automation and renewable energy. Through this visit, we hoped that the students can pursue their education and career in this field!

Our co-director, Manuel AZIBI, finally met the Schneider Electric France team. It was a pleasure to meet the team in person after working together on virtual reality and augmented reality project. In this team, we were able to meet Cédric Hénon, who was our student intern at the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy for about 4 months in 2022 and who continues to work for Schneider Electric.
