Celebration of 125 SMK equipped

On June 2, 2022, the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy celebrated 125 vocational high schools (SMK) equipped by the cooperation between Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia), Ministère de l'Éducation nationale, de la Jeunesse et des Sports (Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports Republic of France) and Schneider Electric in SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Selatan. We would like to thank the host (SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan): the principal, teachers, staff and students for their hard work in hosting the guests. We would also like to thank the presence of the Secretary General of Indonesian Ministry of Education, Ms. Suharti, the French Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Olivier Chambard, and the Country President of Schneider Electric Indonesia, Mr. Roberto Rossi who inaugurated the student practice room. As a reminder, the CoE EARE project that started since 2018 aims to equip minimum 124 SMKs by 2023. We reached the program goal one year early. CoE EARE Co-Director, Mr. Manuel Azibi, for France Éducation international, French Ministry of Education, would like to congratulate all partners for this achievement, especially the team of Directorate General of Vocational Education, Indonesian Ministry of Education and Schneider Electric.

Visit from New Caledonia Delegation

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was delighted to welcome the delegation from New Caledonia, accompanied by Bernadette Thomas, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse (MENJ) and Mathilde Croquet, Institut Français Indonesia (IFI). We were able to present the CoE's project on our premises hosted by BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, as well as to visit our valued partner, SMKN 1 Cimahi for a constructive exchange with the teaching teams and students. The delegation from New Caledonia, comprising : Didier VIN-DATICHE Vice-Rector Isabel ARELLANO, European and international relations and cooperating / Cultural and artistic action Sabrina ELMOUR, National Education inspector for Literature and English Frank COGNET, National Education Inspector for Technical Education Christophe BERGER, Headmaster from Auguste Escoffier High School Who carried out this exploratory mission to build educational cooperation in several vocational specialties. The possibilities are numerous, thanks to the geniality of the SMKN 1 Cimahi and Ibu Dewi (Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat) teams. New Electrical Installation Training Batch for SMK teachers

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received the batch 1 with 19 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Electrical Installation. The trainees will follow 4 weeks training course from February to March 2023. Our Co-Director and Technical Expert of France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the SENAR project with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees. Currently, we are analyzing the results of the feedback that we have distributed in several vocational high schools (SMK).

Opening of Renewable Energy Training for BLK Instructors

GFA Consulting Group, which was mandated by the Swiss government, again sent trainees to the Center of Excellence. This time, it's the turn of instructors from Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK or Vocational Training Center) who will take part in the Advanced Solar Energy Training for a duration of two weeks starting from February 14 to 25, 2022.
