Celebration of 125 SMK equipped

We are pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant and one of CoE’s SMKs located in Jawa Tengah, SMKN 2 Kebumen. The MoU will strengthen collaboration between industry and vocational school in the employment and improving soft & hard skills. This collaboration will provide students and teachers from SMKN 2 Kebumen with job opportunities, soft skills training through workshop provided by experts from SE, student internship that will be offered starting the August. CoE EARE is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant and one of CoE's SMKs, SMKN 2 Bawang. This partnership represents a successful collaboration between industry and vocational schools. The aim of the partnership is to increase employee engagement through student internships, employment opportunities and on-the-job training for teachers. In terms of education, we organise seminars or sharing sessions with experts and we establish links with the curriculum, so that teachers and students can familiarise themselves with Schneider Electric's tools and standards of work (SOPs). As a result, they will be better prepared to work in SE.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is pleased to welcome Mame Diarra THIAM, a French engineering student from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon for 6 (six) months internship from February to early August 2023 for the EnergyLab project. EnergyLab is an advance software of XR Operator Advisor that allows us to manipulate Schneider Electric equipment with Augmented Reality technology. The idea of the project is to guide vocational school (SMK) teachers and students to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school. With the help of the intern, we would like to model the Electrical Installation, Industrial Automation and Renewable Energy equipment using EnergyLab. By using this application, we can elaborate a teaching scenario for SMK teachers on how to use the equipment for learning. In her first week of work, she participated in a SENAR application test at SMKN 1 Plered and introduced herself in front of the participants of training.
