French Ambassador’s visit

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has conduct the fifth SENAR application test of the digital innovation technology based on Augmented Reality at vocational schools, SMKN 34 Jakarta. We would like to thank the principal, the teachers, the staff and the students for the warmly welcomed and wonderful hospitality. We are delighted to welcome the Director general of vocational schools (SMK), Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia), Mr. Wardani Sugiyanto attend this event with Mr. Manuel AZIBI from France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse. In this occasion, Mr. Wardani had the opportunity to try the SENAR application. We are so proud to be published in the article on this following link : https://lnkd.in/gNWifgNu According to the director of vocational school (SMK), Mr. Wardani Sugiyanto, the development of electronics today is relatively fast because it has begun to combine with Information Technology (IT). Therefore, the business and work in the field of applications are needed. This application could bring students to learn how to utilize an equipment through simulator, especially in the electrical, automation and renewable energy field. We would like to thank the presence of the International technical Expert in Vocational Education, Ms. Agnès Dovert, the Secretary General of Indonesian Ministry of Education team and Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia) team who attend this event. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is pleased to welcome Michael Suhendra, an Indonesian engineering student from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, for a 6-month internship from February to August 2023. As part of this internship programme, he will work on the Energy Lab project. This project is a continuation of a previous project called XR Operator Advisor project which allows us to manipulate Schneider Electric equipment with augmented reality technology. The idea of the project is to provide a virtual reality assembly guide for newly employed operators in the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang. As part of this project, we had the opportunity to visit the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang again, in order to establish the precise objectives of the study. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Joko Sutopo and his team for the warm welcome they have always given us and we look forward to working with them again.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is currently hosting Hanif Adjani Prasanna Putra, a student from Universitas Padjadjaran for a three (3) month internship from March to early May 2023, to carry out translations of educational resources. Indeed, Hanif is helping us to translate from French to Indonesian, the educational resources created by French experts from different CMQ (Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications) partners of the CoE. At the end of the day, teachers and students from vocational high schools (SMK), will be able to directly use practical activities adapted to the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school.
