GIZ’s visit

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy had an honor to receive Catoer Wibowo and Dintani Naimah from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH or commonly known as GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

This purpose of the visit was to discuss about the practice of training activities related to Renewable Energy (RE) such as Hybrid Solar Home System, Solar Home System, Solar Water Pumping System, and AC Microgrid, which will be held by GIZ at the Job Training Center (BLK) Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara.

In this occasion, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse had the opportunity to show the digital learning innovation in the form of augmented reality related to renewable energy. Then, followed by a presentation from Mame Diarra THIAM, a French engineering student from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon about her work on digitalize the Schneider Electric equipment using EnergyLab.

This discussion was followed by reviewing the design of training programs that can be implemented for future training.

Second test of the SENAR Application at SMKN 4 Bandung

This month, we had an opportunity to conduct a second test on the digital learning innovation based on augmented reality application in another SMK in Bandung! In this activity, teachers actively participated and helped the students to understand more about learning in the fields of electricity, automation and renewable energy. During the experiment, we got a very positive response not only from the students but from the teachers as well. The teachers were amazed of this development of technology, especially in augmented reality. This learning innovation could enhance students’ motivation and facilitate students to practice learning wherever and whenever. Many thanks to all of teachers and students from SMK Negeri 4 Bandung for the management and the warm welcome. We are very delighted to work with Schneider Electric France and SENAR to drive innovation in education. We can’t wait to do another test at other schools!

Visit from SMK 24 PGRI Jakarta

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy hosted a visit from SMK 24 PGRI Jakarta on Tuesday (08/11). The students were accompanied by their two teachers and the aim of the visit was to motivate and raise the students' interest in the electrical, automation and renewable energy professions. As part of this, we presented the Schneider Electric equipment in our laboratory and the students were fascinated by the visit and surprised to see all these learning tools. At the end of the visit, they had the opportunity to test the equipment. What a pleasure to see them working in our laboratories! We hope that this visit will motivate the students to pursue their future career in this field!
