GIZ's visit

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy had an honor to receive Mr. Catoer Wibowo and Mrs. Dintani Naimah from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH or commonly known as GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

This purpose of the visit was to discuss about the practice of training activities related to Renewable Energy (RE) such as Hybrid Solar Home System, Solar Home System, Solar Water Pumping System, and AC Microgrid, which will be held by GIZ at the Job Training Center (BLK) Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara.

In this occasion, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, France Éducation international, French Ministry of Education had the opportunity to show the digital learning innovation in the form of augmented reality related to renewable energy. Then, followed by a presentation from Mame Diarra THIAM, a French engineering student from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon about her work on digitalize the Schneider Electric equipment using EnergyLab.

This discussion was followed by reviewing the design of training programs that can be implemented for future training.

Education Ministry Collaborates with Schneider Electric in Establishing Centre of Excellence

Schneider Electric, as a global company in the digital transformation of energy management and transformation, collaborated with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to establish the Centre of Excellence in Electricity, Automation, and Renewable Energy. The Expert Staff of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the field of Innovation and Competitiveness, Ananto Kusuma Seta, said that the launch was a follow-up action program for the cooperation agreement between the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, French Schneider Electric Foundation, and PT Schneider Indonesia.

1st Batch of Automation Industry CoE EARE has been opened, involving 4 vocational schools, two of them are from West Java

Cimahi – A total of 4 vocational schools participated in the first batch of Industry Automation CoE EARE Training from August 4 – September 14, 2019 in the CoE EARE Building, PPPPTK BMTI Bandung.
