Cooperation between CoE EARE and CMQ Auto'Mobilités

Of course, one of the main objectives of the CoE is to increase the competence of students in SMK by training and equipping teachers. But it is also important for the CoE to - to listen to the expectations of the companies in terms of expected skills. - to propose internships to improve professionalization - to be interested in the employability of these students. - to take stock of current job offers. It is in this context that the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy warmly welcomed Mr. Joko Sutopo, Director of the Schneider Electric Cikarang plant and his team, on Friday 4 November 2022. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was delighted to welcome the delegation from New Caledonia, accompanied by Bernadette Thomas, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse (MENJ) and Mathilde Croquet, Institut Français Indonesia (IFI). We were able to present the CoE's project on our premises hosted by BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, as well as to visit our valued partner, SMKN 1 Cimahi for a constructive exchange with the teaching teams and students. The delegation from New Caledonia, comprising : Didier VIN-DATICHE Vice-Rector Isabel ARELLANO, European and international relations and cooperating / Cultural and artistic action Sabrina ELMOUR, National Education inspector for Literature and English Frank COGNET, National Education Inspector for Technical Education Christophe BERGER, Headmaster from Auguste Escoffier High School Who carried out this exploratory mission to build educational cooperation in several vocational specialties. The possibilities are numerous, thanks to the geniality of the SMKN 1 Cimahi and Ibu Dewi (Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat) teams. CoE EARE is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant and one of CoE's SMKs, SMKN 2 Bawang. This partnership represents a successful collaboration between industry and vocational schools. The aim of the partnership is to increase employee engagement through student internships, employment opportunities and on-the-job training for teachers. In terms of education, we organise seminars or sharing sessions with experts and we establish links with the curriculum, so that teachers and students can familiarise themselves with Schneider Electric's tools and standards of work (SOPs). As a result, they will be better prepared to work in SE.
