Partnership exploration with ITB

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is currently hosting Hanif Adjani Prasanna Putra, a student from Universitas Padjadjaran for a three (3) month internship from March to early May 2023, to carry out translations of educational resources. Indeed, Hanif is helping us to translate from French to Indonesian, the educational resources created by French experts from different CMQ (Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications) partners of the CoE. At the end of the day, teachers and students from vocational high schools (SMK), will be able to directly use practical activities adapted to the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school. It was an honor for Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from teachers from SMKN 1 Cirebon, Jawa Barat at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, Friday (07/10/2022). The visit was received by Mr. Tatang Sukendar as the Master Trainer and the CoE EARE’s team. In this occasion, as usual we presented our facilites and laboratories in order to show and explain the utility of our equipment. The presentation was interesting and the teachers were amazed to see all this sophisticated equipment. Actually, SMKN 1 Cirebon is one of our equipped schools in the field of industrial automation. The purpose of the visit was to observe the equipment of the CoE EARE laboratories. Through this visit, we hoped that we could conduct other collaborations in other fields.

Schneider Electric, as a global company in the digital transformation of energy management and transformation, collaborated with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to establish the Centre of Excellence in Electricity, Automation, and Renewable Energy. The Expert Staff of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the field of Innovation and Competitiveness, Ananto Kusuma Seta, said that the launch was a follow-up action program for the cooperation agreement between the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, French Schneider Electric Foundation, and PT Schneider Indonesia.
