Partnership exploration with ITB

Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is trying to expand its partnership with some universities in Indonesia. On 12 July 2022, we had the honor of meeting with Mr. Andika Putra Pratama, Head of International Relation at Institut Teknologi Bandung. In this meeting, we discussed some possible partnership actions, such as internships at CoE EARE, sharing laboratories, and collaborative student projects. Based on this discussion, we plan to sign an agreement to legalize our partnership.

Visit from Government of Philippines

The Centre of Excellence Receives a Visit from Government of Philippines It was an honor for The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from the Government of Philippines, Department of Science & Technology Region XI at Cimahi. This visit was supervised by Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of Electrical Department at BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. During this visit, we had an opportunity to showed all Schneider Electric equipment and also explained the utility of the equipments. The presentation followed by a discussion regarding the differences of developments in Indonesia and Phillippines. Thank you for the interesting discussion. We are looking forward to our future collaboration!

ITB Student at CoE EARE for EnergyLab

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is pleased to welcome Michael Suhendra, an Indonesian engineering student from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, for a 6-month internship from February to August 2023. As part of this internship programme, he will work on the Energy Lab project. This project is a continuation of a previous project called XR Operator Advisor project which allows us to manipulate Schneider Electric equipment with augmented reality technology. The idea of the project is to provide a virtual reality assembly guide for newly employed operators in the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang. As part of this project, we had the opportunity to visit the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang again, in order to establish the precise objectives of the study. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Joko Sutopo and his team for the warm welcome they have always given us and we look forward to working with them again.
