Partnership exploration with ITB

Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is trying to expand its partnership with some universities in Indonesia. On 12 July 2022, we had the honor of meeting with Mr. Andika Putra Pratama, Head of International Relation at Institut Teknologi Bandung. In this meeting, we discussed some possible partnership actions, such as internships at CoE EARE, sharing laboratories, and collaborative student projects. Based on this discussion, we plan to sign an agreement to legalize our partnership.

Ancora Foundation's visit

On Wednesday 16 August 2023, The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud had an honor to receive Ahmad Zakky Habibie, Ratri Pratiwi & Dina Fatia from Ancora Foundation. Ancora Foundation is a philantrophic organization with an overriding objective to light fire in the minds of the young Indonesia through education. The purpose of this visit is to see our facilities and also to discuss some issues regarding the education. Also, thank you to Aswita W. Saragih & Ancora Foundation for the overwhelming support that made this bilateral project success.

Workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” by Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant

On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field. This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry. This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives. Visit from Shikoku Nae hanbai Corp., UPTD Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Kejuruan (BPPK) Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan and Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (UIN Suska Riau)

This week, The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from Shikoku Nae hanbai Corp., UPTD Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Kejuruan (BPPK) Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan and Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (UIN Suska Riau). In order to develop competency assessment and laboratories, they intend to conduct comparative study visit on electricity, automation and renewable energy. This visit was supervised by our Master Trainer, Mr. Didi Kurniadi. In this occasion, he showed all Schneider Electric equipment and also explained the utility of the equipments. He gave a presentation related to the all of material and continued with a question and answer discussion session. Thank you for your visit, hope you enjoy it!
