Partnership exploration with ITB

Schneider Electric, as a global company in the digital transformation of energy management and transformation, collaborated with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to establish the Centre of Excellence in Electricity, Automation, and Renewable Energy. The Expert Staff of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the field of Innovation and Competitiveness, Ananto Kusuma Seta, said that the launch was a follow-up action program for the cooperation agreement between the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, French Schneider Electric Foundation, and PT Schneider Indonesia.

Last week, team had a pleasure week on Indonesia Sustainable Energy Week (ISEW) 2023 at Kempinski Hotels Grand Ballroom, Jakarta, organized by GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN, CASE for Southeast Asia & Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR). Through this event, we obtained aspirations from several stakeholders regarding the energy transition to achieve “Indonesia Emas 2045” (Golden Indonesia 2045). As a part of it, we need to be a game changer which aims to accelerate the energy transition. None of us, ever do great things alone. Therefore, we need to collaborate with other stakeholders to achieve the goals and ideals of Indonesia in the future. We would like to thank to Aswita W. Saragih for sharing our project. On 8 November 2022, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the honour to meet with Mr. Chris Avrain, Business Development Director of Industrial Supply of Schneider Electric East Asia Japan and Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Business Development of Education of Schneider Electric Indonesia at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta. The objective of the visit was to discuss the contribution of software in education, as well as the important role of simulation in learning. The work already done with SENAR and XR OA, paves the way to new challenges for the CoE, especially with industrial supervision and expert automation software from AVEVA.
