Visit of Cultural Counsellor of the French Embassy in Indonesia to CoE EARE

Last week, team had a pleasure week on Indonesia Sustainable Energy Week (ISEW) 2023 at Kempinski Hotels Grand Ballroom, Jakarta, organized by GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN, CASE for Southeast Asia & Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR). Through this event, we obtained aspirations from several stakeholders regarding the energy transition to achieve “Indonesia Emas 2045” (Golden Indonesia 2045). As a part of it, we need to be a game changer which aims to accelerate the energy transition. None of us, ever do great things alone. Therefore, we need to collaborate with other stakeholders to achieve the goals and ideals of Indonesia in the future. We would like to thank to Aswita W. Saragih for sharing our project. 6 vocational schools become regional center of excellence (RCoE) Of the 144 vocational high schools equipped by our project, some are becoming Regional Centres of Excellence (RCoE). Last month, 6 new schools became RCoEs: - SMKN 2 Kendal - SMKN 4 Lebong - SMKN 1 Cirebon - SMKN 2 Samarinda - SMKN 2 Bawang

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has started the training of 8 teachers from 8 vocational high schools (SMK) in Industrial Automation. The trainees have participated in this training for about 6 weeks training course from August to September 2022. We are pleased to welcome Analeila Devira Lorenzi, a new assistant at CoE EARE. In her second week on the job, she did a translation during the presentation process. On the other hand, the Co-Director Mr. Manuel AZIBI presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the projects with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees.
