ITB Student at CoE EARE for EnergyLab

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB). Professor Pipit Anggraeni, Vice President of Academic Affairs signed the document with Manuel AZIBI, CoE EARE’s co-director. In the future, we will work together to increase practical activities, on educational projects for students and also offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality. The agreement collaboration covers areas of cooperation related to, such as : - sharing laboratories to explore more laboratory practical activities - collaborative learning, work on projects can enhance student learning - offering students internships that can enhance student in professional experience We would like to thank Pipit Anggraeni, Mohammad Nurdin, Setyawan Ajie Sukarno, Nuryanti Sumarno, Hilda Khoirunnisa & Dini Hadiani for the warm welcome and amazing hospitality!

Of course, one of the main objectives of the CoE is to increase the competence of students in SMK by training and equipping teachers. But it is also important for the CoE to - to listen to the expectations of the companies in terms of expected skills. - to propose internships to improve professionalization - to be interested in the employability of these students. - to take stock of current job offers. It is in this context that the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy warmly welcomed Mr. Joko Sutopo, Director of the Schneider Electric Cikarang plant and his team, on Friday 4 November 2022. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is currently hosting Hanif Adjani Prasanna Putra, a student from Universitas Padjadjaran for a three (3) month internship from March to early May 2023, to carry out translations of educational resources. Indeed, Hanif is helping us to translate from French to Indonesian, the educational resources created by French experts from different CMQ (Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications) partners of the CoE. At the end of the day, teachers and students from vocational high schools (SMK), will be able to directly use practical activities adapted to the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school.
