Launch of CoE EARE Community Platform

On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field. This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry. This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives. After spending the first week with Campus des métiers et des qualifications PlastiCampus, we had an opportunity to spend another week with Campus des métiers et des qualifications Microtechniques et Systèmes Intelligents On this occasion, we visited several vocational schools and French industries in order to exchange with them regarding the formation proposed, practical activity, teaching method and also study & work manner. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from SMK 1 Sukatani Purwakarta, West Java, to our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. This visit was supervised by Mr. Didi Kurniadi, our master trainer, and the CoE EARE team. During the visit we had the opportunity to present and explain our facilities and laboratories. On this occasion, our trainer demonstrated the operation of the systems to explain the usefulness of the equipment. Thank you for your visit, and we hope to have inspired some vocations in these young people!
