Launch of CoE EARE Community Platform

CoE EARE launched its community platform by using Discord to connect all trainees (vocational school teachers and technicians) from the beginning of the project, Master Trainers, CoE EARE and Schneider Electric Indonesia. The socialization was held online on April 13, 2022 with more than 78 vocational schools (SMK) participated in the event. Co-director of CoE EARE, Manuel AZIBI, representing French Ministry of Education, welcomed the participants in the event. We had the honor to receive the Cluster President of Schneider Electric Indonesia, Roberto Rossi, who presented the progress of the Center of Excellence project in Indonesia. Aswita W. Saragih, Education Business Development of Schneider Electric Indonesia, and Tubagus Kurniawan, Head of Electrical Department of BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, also delivered their speeches. This socialization event aims to introduce the people behind the project, introduce CoE's social media, and explain how to set up and use Discord as CoE EARE's community platform.

Visit from New Caledonia Delegation

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was delighted to welcome the delegation from New Caledonia, accompanied by Bernadette Thomas, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse (MENJ) and Mathilde Croquet, Institut Français Indonesia (IFI). We were able to present the CoE's project on our premises hosted by BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, as well as to visit our valued partner, SMKN 1 Cimahi for a constructive exchange with the teaching teams and students. The delegation from New Caledonia, comprising : Didier VIN-DATICHE Vice-Rector Isabel ARELLANO, European and international relations and cooperating / Cultural and artistic action Sabrina ELMOUR, National Education inspector for Literature and English Frank COGNET, National Education Inspector for Technical Education Christophe BERGER, Headmaster from Auguste Escoffier High School Who carried out this exploratory mission to build educational cooperation in several vocational specialties. The possibilities are numerous, thanks to the geniality of the SMKN 1 Cimahi and Ibu Dewi (Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat) teams. Recruitment Test by Schneider Electric Cikarang

Schneider Electric Cikarang Factory Plant conducted a recruitment test in some schools. The recruitment test process is conducted online and offline. On one hand, we held an offline recruitment test in SMKN 26 Jakarta, SMKM 1 Cikarang Selatan and SMKN 1 Adiwerna Tegal. On the other hand, we held an online recruitment test in SMKN 1 Cirebon. This recruitment test, which aim to help SMK students to obtain a job at Schneider Electric for the position of production operator and final quality control, awakening a lot of interest from the students.

Education Ministry Collaborates with Schneider Electric in Establishing Centre of Excellence

Schneider Electric, as a global company in the digital transformation of energy management and transformation, collaborated with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to establish the Centre of Excellence in Electricity, Automation, and Renewable Energy. The Expert Staff of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the field of Innovation and Competitiveness, Ananto Kusuma Seta, said that the launch was a follow-up action program for the cooperation agreement between the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, French Schneider Electric Foundation, and PT Schneider Indonesia.
