New Industrial Automation and Electrical Installation Training Batch for SMK Technicians

Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has the pleasure to announce that we welcome two new interns from the French Literature Department of Universitas Padjadjaran as the two parties developed an alliance through this internship program. As a result to this partnership, we provide an offer for French Literature students from Unpad to work in a professional environment where they could perform their French language skill in supporting CoE EARE to achieve our goals and participating in amelioration of vocational students skill regarding electrical engineering. From September to December 2023, the two mentioned interns, Theresia Melanie and Gregorius Dhanu Dewa Wiceca Dhanu will be responsible for learning modules translations from French into Bahasa Indonesia which are prepared by French experts from Schneider for SMK’ teachers and our numerous partners. It is to be hoped that CoE will not only appear in assisting vocational schools, but also all the related universities under Kemendikbud Indonesia.

On 8 November 2022, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the honour to meet with Mr. Chris Avrain, Business Development Director of Industrial Supply of Schneider Electric East Asia Japan and Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Business Development of Education of Schneider Electric Indonesia at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta. The objective of the visit was to discuss the contribution of software in education, as well as the important role of simulation in learning. The work already done with SENAR and XR OA, paves the way to new challenges for the CoE, especially with industrial supervision and expert automation software from AVEVA. For the 2022 program, the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy plans to extend its collaboration with some of the Campus des métiers et des qualifications in France. A Campus des métiers et des qualifications or CMQ is a network that brings together all the stakeholders (high school, higher education institutions, training organizations, research laboratories, companies and associations) in a sector of activity to develop the skills required by the industries.
