The Centre of Excellence Receives a Visit from Government of Philippines It was an honor for The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from the Government of Philippines, Department of Science & Technology Region XI at Cimahi. This visit was supervised by Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of Electrical Department at BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. During this visit, we had an opportunity to showed all Schneider Electric equipment and also explained the utility of the equipments. The presentation followed by a discussion regarding the differences of developments in Indonesia and Phillippines. Thank you for the interesting discussion. Of course, one of the main objectives of the CoE is to increase the competence of students in SMK by training and equipping teachers. But it is also important for the CoE to - to listen to the expectations of the companies in terms of expected skills. - to propose internships to improve professionalization - to be interested in the employability of these students. - to take stock of current job offers. It is in this context that the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy warmly welcomed Mr. Joko Sutopo, Director of the Schneider Electric Cikarang plant and his team, on Friday 4 November 2022. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received the batch 1 with 19 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Electrical Installation. The trainees will follow 4 weeks training course from February to March 2023. Our Co-Director and Technical Expert of France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the SENAR project with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees. Currently, we are analyzing the results of the feedback that we have distributed in several vocational high schools (SMK).
