Visit to Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is starting the training of 11 teachers from 9 vocational high schools (SMK) in Industrial Automation. The trainees will follow 6 weeks training course from 22 June to 27 July 2022.

Following cross-visits between Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB) and Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, we are currently preparing a collaborative programme between CoE EARE and POLMAN Bandung and neighbouring SMKs. As part of this programme, we plan to : - sharing laboratories to increase practical activities, - working together on educational projects for students - offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality.

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB). Professor Pipit Anggraeni, Vice President of Academic Affairs signed the document with Manuel AZIBI, CoE EARE’s co-director. In the future, we will work together to increase practical activities, on educational projects for students and also offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality.
