New Industrial Automation and Electrical Installation Training Batch for SMK Technicians

It was an honor for Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from teachers from SMKN 1 Cirebon, Jawa Barat at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, Friday (07/10/2022). The visit was received by Mr. Tatang Sukendar as the Master Trainer and the CoE EARE’s team. In this occasion, as usual we presented our facilites and laboratories in order to show and explain the utility of our equipment. The presentation was interesting and the teachers were amazed to see all this sophisticated equipment. Actually, SMKN 1 Cirebon is one of our equipped schools in the field of industrial automation. The purpose of the visit was to observe the equipment of the CoE EARE laboratories. Through this visit, we hoped that we could conduct other collaborations in other fields.

The Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to meet with the Head of Staff, Strategy and Business Planning Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan HP Indonesia, Florence Lim Lai at our offices on 22 September 2022. The purpose of this visit was to present our projects, observe our laboratory equipment and discuss the opportunity for future cooperation between CoE EARE and HP Indonesia. On this occasion, HP Education presented its products and solutions for innovation in teaching and learning. It was also an opportunity to showcase our work in augmented and virtual reality as part of our skills dissemination projects in all 34 provinces of Indonesia. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy hosted a visit from SMK 24 PGRI Jakarta on Tuesday (08/11). The students were accompanied by their two teachers and the aim of the visit was to motivate and raise the students' interest in the electrical, automation and renewable energy professions. As part of this, we presented the Schneider Electric equipment in our laboratory and the students were fascinated by the visit and surprised to see all these learning tools. At the end of the visit, they had the opportunity to test the equipment. What a pleasure to see them working in our laboratories! We hope that this visit will motivate the students to pursue their future career in this field!
