New Industrial Automation and Electrical Installation Training Batch for SMK Technicians

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has conduct the fifth SENAR application test of the digital innovation technology based on Augmented Reality at vocational schools, SMKN 34 Jakarta. We would like to thank the principal, the teachers, the staff and the students for the warmly welcomed and wonderful hospitality. We are delighted to welcome the Director general of vocational schools (SMK), Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia), Mr. Wardani Sugiyanto attend this event with Mr. Manuel AZIBI from France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse. In this occasion, Mr. Wardani had the opportunity to try the SENAR application. Therefore, the business and work in the field of applications are needed. This application could bring students to learn how to utilize an equipment through simulator, especially in the electrical, automation and renewable energy field. We would like to thank the presence of the International technical Expert in Vocational Education, Ms. Agnès Dovert, the Secretary General of Indonesian Ministry of Education team and Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia) team who attend this event. On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field. This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry. This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives. We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB). Professor Pipit Anggraeni, Vice President of Academic Affairs signed the document with Manuel AZIBI, CoE EARE’s co-director. In the future, we will work together to increase practical activities, on educational projects for students and also offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality. The agreement collaboration covers areas of cooperation related to, such as : - sharing laboratories to explore more laboratory practical activities - collaborative learning, work on projects can enhance student learning - offering students internships that can enhance student in professional experience We would like to thank Pipit Anggraeni, Mohammad Nurdin, Setyawan Ajie Sukarno, Nuryanti Sumarno, Hilda Khoirunnisa & Dini Hadiani for the warm welcome and amazing hospitality!
