New Industrial Automation and Electrical Installation Training Batch for SMK Technicians

For almost 4 months, Cédric Hénon, French intern from ESIROI [École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Réunion Océan Indien], has been interning at Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. In the 4th week of August, he had the opportunity to do his internship at Schneider Electric Indonesia's Head Office in Jakarta for a week. On 25 August 2022, the intern made a final presentation of the XR Operator Advisor project. We would like to thank Roberto Rossi and Astri Ramayanti Dharmawan for attending the final presentation. The XR OA project was initiated by Marie Castella (Innovative & Inclusive Training Lead from Schneider Electric France), supervised by Manuel AZIBI (Co-Director of CoE EARE) and supported by Aswita W. Saragih (Education Business Development from Schneider Electric Indonesia). We hope that this innovative project, which aims to test the use of XR OA software in education, will help learners in the future. Cédric Hénon is almost at the end of his internship. Last week, our Co-Director, Manuel AZIBI, France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, had a honor to be part of Solar Industry Meet-Up with GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN and Schneider Electric in Kupang, NTT.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is pleased to welcome Mame Diarra THIAM, a French engineering student from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon for 6 (six) months internship from February to early August 2023 for the EnergyLab project. EnergyLab is an advance software of XR Operator Advisor that allows us to manipulate Schneider Electric equipment with Augmented Reality technology. The idea of the project is to guide vocational school (SMK) teachers and students to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school. With the help of the intern, we would like to model the Electrical Installation, Industrial Automation and Renewable Energy equipment using EnergyLab. By using this application, we can elaborate a teaching scenario for SMK teachers on how to use the equipment for learning. In her first week of work, she participated in a SENAR application test at SMKN 1 Plered and introduced herself in front of the participants of training.
