Visit from SMKN 1 Jakarta

On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field. This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry. This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives. GIZ paid a visit to the EARE Center of Excellence on Friday, December 17, 2021 to discuss the curriculum for Renewable Energy Training, especially solar energy.

This week, we had the honour of hosting and meeting members of Schneider Electric Indonesia - Cikarang Plant at our office located at BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. The objectives of this visit were : - to continue the discussion on how to harmonise industry needs and skills in vocational schools. - to work on joint training courses that could support new recruits. - to offer internships with industrial subjects to higher education establishments.
