New Industrial Automation Training Batch for SMK

On 8 November 2022, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the honour to meet with Mr. Chris Avrain, Business Development Director of Industrial Supply of Schneider Electric East Asia Japan and Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Business Development of Education of Schneider Electric Indonesia at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta. The objective of the visit was to discuss the contribution of software in education, as well as the important role of simulation in learning. The work already done with SENAR and XR OA, paves the way to new challenges for the CoE, especially with industrial supervision and expert automation software from AVEVA. On September 26, 2022, Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy had an honor to receive the Energy Director from Schneider Electric Global, ABHIMANYU SAHU. The purpose of this visit was to observe the Schneider Electric equipment in the CoE EARE laboratories and to discuss further cooperation with Schneider Electric Indonesia. In addition, he also gave a feedback, shared the practice’s experience from another centre of excellence and planned the next possible actions in our strong collaboration. It was also the opportunity for us to show our educational work in augmented and virtual reality project. These learning innovation which are still in translate phase to Indonesian aims to help teacher to use the Schneider Electric equipment that has been received in their schools. Our Co-Director, Manuel AZIBI, will conduct several tests at some vocational schools in Indonesia.
