New Industrial Automation Training Batch for SMK

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has started the training of 8 teachers from 8 vocational high schools (SMK) in Industrial Automation. The trainees have participated in this training for about 6 weeks training course from August to September 2022.

We are pleased to welcome Analeila Devira Lorenzi, a new assistant at CoE EARE. In her second week on the job, she did a translation during the presentation process.

On the other hand, the Co-Director Mr. Manuel AZIBI presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the projects with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees.

Visit from Schneider Electric Cikarang

Of course, one of the main objectives of the CoE is to increase the competence of students in SMK by training and equipping teachers. But it is also important for the CoE to - to listen to the expectations of the companies in terms of expected skills. - to propose internships to improve professionalization - to be interested in the employability of these students. - to take stock of current job offers. It is in this context that the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy warmly welcomed Mr. Joko Sutopo, Director of the Schneider Electric Cikarang plant and his team, on Friday 4 November 2022. Thank you for the fruitful visit and discussion. We look forward to our future collaboration!

Visit from New Caledonia Delegation

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was delighted to welcome the delegation from New Caledonia, accompanied by Bernadette Thomas, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse (MENJ) and Mathilde Croquet, Institut Français Indonesia (IFI). We were able to present the CoE's project on our premises hosted by BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, as well as to visit our valued partner, SMKN 1 Cimahi for a constructive exchange with the teaching teams and students. The delegation from New Caledonia, comprising : Didier VIN-DATICHE Vice-Rector Isabel ARELLANO, European and international relations and cooperating / Cultural and artistic action Sabrina ELMOUR, National Education inspector for Literature and English Frank COGNET, National Education Inspector for Technical Education Christophe BERGER, Headmaster from Auguste Escoffier High School Who carried out this exploratory mission to build educational cooperation in several vocational specialties. The possibilities are numerous, thanks to the geniality of the SMKN 1 Cimahi and Ibu Dewi (Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat) teams. We would like to thank you for your superb exchanges and for the highly motivating joint project prospects!
