New Industrial Automation Training Batch for SMK

The Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to meet with the Head of Staff, Strategy and Business Planning Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan HP Indonesia, Florence Lim Lai at our offices on 22 September 2022. The purpose of this visit was to present our projects, observe our laboratory equipment and discuss the opportunity for future cooperation between CoE EARE and HP Indonesia. On this occasion, HP Education presented its products and solutions for innovation in teaching and learning. It was also an opportunity to showcase our work in augmented and virtual reality as part of our skills dissemination projects in all 34 provinces of Indonesia. For about 6 months, Mame Diarra THIAM, French intern from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, has been interning at Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. In the 4th week of July, she had the opportunity to present her final presentation of the EnergyLab project which develop simulation of pedagogical tools using EcoStruxure XR OA from Schneider Electric. Her study objects are EV Charger, PLC and Sensor.

On Tuesday 16 May 2023, France and Indonesia held a successful Governing Board Meeting (GBM) at the Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia). The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud), the Ministry of National Education and Youth, Schneider Electric Indonesia, the Schneider Electric Foundation and the French Embassy in Indonesia participated in this meeting.
