New Industrial Automation Training Batch for SMK

West Sumatera at Schneider Electric Cikarang ETO Smart Factory SMKN 1 Sungai Rumbai is one of Industrial Automation Centre of Excellence Schools awarded in 2021. With great enthusiasm, the school is eagerly applying for Internship Opportunity in Schneider Electric. GFA Group collaborates with CoE EARE to conduct training for Polytechnic lecturers and instructors of the Vocational Training Agency (BLK) in the field of Renewable Energy. Batch 1 opened on January 31, 2022 for 12 lecturers from 6 different Polytechnics for basic level solar energy.

On 8 November 2022, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the honour to meet with Mr. Chris Avrain, Business Development Director of Industrial Supply of Schneider Electric East Asia Japan and Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Business Development of Education of Schneider Electric Indonesia at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta. The objective of the visit was to discuss the contribution of software in education, as well as the important role of simulation in learning. The work already done with SENAR and XR OA, paves the way to new challenges for the CoE, especially with industrial supervision and expert automation software from AVEVA.
