MoU between CoE EARE & Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI)

Schneider Electric Cikarang Factory Plant conducted a recruitment test in some schools. The recruitment test process is conducted online and offline. On one hand, we held an offline recruitment test in SMKN 26 Jakarta, SMKM 1 Cikarang Selatan and SMKN 1 Adiwerna Tegal. On the other hand, we held an online recruitment test in SMKN 1 Cirebon. This recruitment test, which aim to help SMK students to obtain a job at Schneider Electric for the position of production operator and final quality control, awakening a lot of interest from the students.

On 8 November 2022, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the honour to meet with Mr. Chris Avrain, Business Development Director of Industrial Supply of Schneider Electric East Asia Japan and Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Business Development of Education of Schneider Electric Indonesia at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta. The objective of the visit was to discuss the contribution of software in education, as well as the important role of simulation in learning. The work already done with SENAR and XR OA, paves the way to new challenges for the CoE, especially with industrial supervision and expert automation software from AVEVA. Last week, team had a pleasure week on Indonesia Sustainable Energy Week (ISEW) 2023 at Kempinski Hotels Grand Ballroom, Jakarta, organized by GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN, CASE for Southeast Asia & Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR). Through this event, we obtained aspirations from several stakeholders regarding the energy transition to achieve “Indonesia Emas 2045” (Golden Indonesia 2045). As a part of it, we need to be a game changer which aims to accelerate the energy transition. None of us, ever do great things alone. Therefore, we need to collaborate with other stakeholders to achieve the goals and ideals of Indonesia in the future. We would like to thank to Aswita W. Saragih for sharing our project.
