West Sumatera at Schneider Electric Cikarang ETO Smart Factory SMKN 1 Sungai Rumbai is one of Industrial Automation Centre of Excellence Schools awarded in 2021. With great enthusiasm, the school is eagerly applying for Internship Opportunity in Schneider Electric. Untuk program kerja tahun 2022, Pusat Keunggulan Bidang Listrik, Otomasi dan Energi Terbarukan berencana untuk memperluas kerjasamanya dengan beberapa Campus des métiers et des qualifications di Prancis. Campus des métiers et des qualifications atau CMQ adalah jaringan yang menyatukan semua pemangku kepentingan (sekolah menengah, lembaga pendidikan tinggi, organisasi pelatihan, laboratorium penelitian, perusahaan dan asosiasi) dalam suatu sektor kegiatan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan oleh industri.

The CoE project has already equipped 125 SMK across Indonesia. Some of these SMK have the possibility to become Regional Center of Excellence and disseminate their new skills and share their equipment with neighboring SMK. This is the case of SMKN 1 Tana Toraja and SMKN 2 Komodo who became RCoE after a one-week on-site training. We would like to thank our master trainer, Pak Tubagus Kurniawan, who conducted the training in these 2 SMK. The teachers were trained in the use of the equipment received and we hope that the trained teachers will be able to make an impact on the surrounding schools.
