Following the visit of Campus des métiers et des qualifications PlastiCampus & Campus des métiers et des qualifications Microtechniques et Systèmes Intelligents delegates to Indonesia in March 2023, an invitation was sent from CoE EARE to Indonesian vocational teachers as a part of our hashtag#cooperation international, Franco-Indonesian 🇫🇷🇮🇩 project led by PlastiCampus, which aims to develop international cooperation. The invitation was then accepted by some some vocational schools and French industry regarding the formation proposed, practical activity, teaching method and also study & work manner. Moreover, the most important is we were able to have a great exchange with teachers from French vocational schools regarding some practical activity. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was delighted to welcome the delegation from New Caledonia, accompanied by Bernadette Thomas, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse (MENJ) and Mathilde Croquet, Institut Français Indonesia (IFI). We were able to present the CoE's project on our premises hosted by BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, as well as to visit our valued partner, SMKN 1 Cimahi for a constructive exchange with the teaching teams and students. The delegation from New Caledonia, comprising : Didier VIN-DATICHE Vice-Rector Isabel ARELLANO, European and international relations and cooperating / Cultural and artistic action Sabrina ELMOUR, National Education inspector for Literature and English Frank COGNET, National Education Inspector for Technical Education Christophe BERGER, Headmaster from Auguste Escoffier High School Who carried out this exploratory mission to build educational cooperation in several vocational specialties. The possibilities are numerous, thanks to the geniality of the SMKN 1 Cimahi and Ibu Dewi (Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat) teams. We would like to thank you for your superb exchanges and for the highly motivating joint project prospects!

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy & BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud were delighted to receive 3 French experts from Académie de La Réunion, Campus des métiers et des qualifications civil engineering and eco-construction in a tropical environment and ESIROI [École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Réunion Océan Indien]. The group was composed of Mr. Brault Laurent, DRAFPIC and Director of the GIP FCIP, Mr. Ranjit ZANEGUY, Head of the DRAFPIC’s partnerships and territory unit & Mr. Didier CALOGINE, Professor at ESIROI Engineering School whose arrival was welcomed by our co-director Mr. Manuel AZIBI, France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse and Mr. Supriyono, the head of BMTI. The intention of the visit was to discuss further possibility of partnership in order to reinforce the cooperation between France-Indonesia and to seek the opportunity to collaborate in creating a good impact on society. In confirming their objective to join forces, the delegates along with COE team paid a visit to SMKN 1 Cimahi in the same day to see the school laboratories equipped by Schneider Electric, have an exchange with the students regarding their passion for further life, and also about the differences between vocational high school and industry in France & Indonesia. The visit was able to took place on account of Bapak Agus Priyatmono Nugroho, headmaster of SMKN 1 Cimahi, Ibu Verga Pandrianti & Bapak Adi Supriyadi, automation teachers at SMKN 1 Cimahi, asl well as all of SMKN 1 Cimahi team. The team then proceeded to make a stop at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarter on October, 20 2023 in Jakarta. During the visit, our co-director Mr. Manuel Azibi had the honor to meet Mr. Hedi Santoso, Government Relations Director of Schneider Electric, Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Corporate Citizenship Specialist of SE & Mrs. Sri Rahayu Ningsih, Program Coordinator for Government Relations & Certification Administration of SE Indonesia. Moreover, the delegates were also given the opportunity to see Schneider Electric product and hashtag#Ecostruxure for supporting digital solutions. All of the representatives later had a fruitful discussion regarding the potential collaboration in order to actualize the mission of all organizations and improve the quality of education of vocational high schools in Indonesia. We truly appreciate Mr. Hedi Santoso, Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih & Mrs. Sri Rahayu Ningsih for the valuable discourse. We eagerly await our future collaboration!

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB). Professor Pipit Anggraeni, Vice President of Academic Affairs signed the document with Manuel AZIBI, CoE EARE’s co-director. In the future, we will work together to increase practical activities, on educational projects for students and also offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality. The agreement collaboration covers areas of cooperation related to, such as : - sharing laboratories to explore more laboratory practical activities - collaborative learning, work on projects can enhance student learning - offering students internships that can enhance student in professional experience We would like to thank Pipit Anggraeni, Mohammad Nurdin, Setyawan Ajie Sukarno, Nuryanti Sumarno, Hilda Khoirunnisa & Dini Hadiani for the warm welcome and amazing hospitality!

Last week, we had a pleasure of receiving a French delegation from Académie de La Réunion & Campus des métiers et des qualifications civil engineering and eco-construction in a tropical environment composed by Brault Laurent, DRAFPIC, Ranjit ZANEGUY, Head of partnerships (DRAFPIC Réunion/Rectorat) & Didier CALOGINE, Professor at ESIROI [École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Réunion Océan Indien] Engineering School. The French delegation was warmly received by Cecep S. And his team at Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia) accompanied by CoE EARE’s Co-director, Manuel AZIBI, France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse and Antoine Bricout, Educational Cooperation Attaché of the French Embassy, Institut Français Indonesia. The purpose of a visit was to discuss about the further actions of collaborations regarding the cooperation agreement that has been signed between the CMQ génie civil et éco-construction en milieu tropical, La Réunion and Kemendikbud. We were first hosted by Kemendikbud, with the first presentation of the DRAFPIC, Brault Laurent, that took us through following discussion about our further actions on vocational education. Last week, team had a pleasure week on Indonesia Sustainable Energy Week (ISEW) 2023 at Kempinski Hotels Grand Ballroom, Jakarta, organized by GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN, CASE for Southeast Asia & Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR). Through this event, we obtained aspirations from several stakeholders regarding the energy transition to achieve “Indonesia Emas 2045” (Golden Indonesia 2045). As a part of it, we need to be a game changer which aims to accelerate the energy transition. None of us, ever do great things alone. Therefore, we need to collaborate with other stakeholders to achieve the goals and ideals of Indonesia in the future. We would like to thank to Aswita W. Saragih for sharing our project. Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has the pleasure to announce that we welcome two new interns from the French Literature Department of Universitas Padjadjaran as the two parties developed an alliance through this internship program. As a result to this partnership, we provide an offer for French Literature students from Unpad to work in a professional environment where they could perform their French language skill in supporting CoE EARE to achieve our goals and participating in amelioration of vocational students skill regarding electrical engineering. From September to December 2023, the two mentioned interns, Theresia Melanie and Gregorius Dhanu Dewa Wiceca Dhanu will be responsible for learning modules translations from French into Bahasa Indonesia which are prepared by French experts from Schneider for SMK’ teachers and our numerous partners. It is to be hoped that CoE will not only appear in assisting vocational schools, but also all the related universities under Kemendikbud Indonesia.

On Monday (7/10), we were honored to receive a visit from the Cultural Counsellor of the French Embassy in Indonesia, Institut Français Indonesia, Jules Irrmann accompanied by Antoine Bricout, Attaché for Academic Cooperation and Education at IFI Thamrin Jakarta.

Last week, our Co-Director, Manuel AZIBI, France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, had a honor to be part of Solar Industry Meet-Up with GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN and Schneider Electric in Kupang, NTT.

Following cross-visits between Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB) and Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, we are currently preparing a collaborative programme between CoE EARE and POLMAN Bandung and neighbouring SMKs. As part of this programme, we plan to : - sharing laboratories to increase practical activities, - working together on educational projects for students - offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality.

This week, we had the honour of hosting and meeting members of Schneider Electric Indonesia - Cikarang Plant at our office located at BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. The objectives of this visit were : - to continue the discussion on how to harmonise industry needs and skills in vocational schools. - to work on joint training courses that could support new recruits. - to offer internships with industrial subjects to higher education establishments.

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and the French Department of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Professor Tri Indri Hardini, Dean of the Faculty of Language and Literature, signed the document with Mr. Manuel AZIBI, Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy.

We are pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant and one of CoE’s SMKs located in Jawa Tengah, SMKN 2 Kebumen. The MoU will strengthen collaboration between industry and vocational school in the employment and improving soft & hard skills. This collaboration will provide students and teachers from SMKN 2 Kebumen with job opportunities, soft skills training through workshop provided by experts from SE, student internship that will be offered starting the August. On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field. This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry. This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives. Last month, 6 new schools became RCoEs: - SMKN 2 Kendal - SMKN 4 Lebong - SMKN 1 Cirebon - SMKN 2 Samarinda - SMKN 2 Bawang

CoE EARE is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant and one of CoE's SMKs, SMKN 2 Bawang. This partnership represents a successful collaboration between industry and vocational schools. The aim of the partnership is to increase employee engagement through student internships, employment opportunities and on-the-job training for teachers. In terms of education, we organise seminars or sharing sessions with experts and we establish links with the curriculum, so that teachers and students can familiarise themselves with Schneider Electric's tools and standards of work (SOPs). As a result, they will be better prepared to work in SE.

On Wednesday 16 August 2023, The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud had an honor to receive Ahmad Zakky Habibie, Ratri Pratiwi & Dina Fatia from Ancora Foundation. Ancora Foundation is a philantrophic organization with an overriding objective to light fire in the minds of the young Indonesia through education. The purpose of this visit is to see our facilities and also to discuss some issues regarding the education. Also, thank you to Aswita W. Saragih & Ancora Foundation for the overwhelming support that made this bilateral project success.

Our co-director, Manuel AZIBI, finally met the Schneider Electric France team. It was a pleasure to meet the team in person after working together on virtual reality and augmented reality project. In this team, we were able to meet Cédric Hénon, who was our student intern at the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy for about 4 months in 2022 and who continues to work for Schneider Electric. West Sumatera at Schneider Electric Cikarang ETO Smart Factory SMKN 1 Sungai Rumbai is one of Industrial Automation Centre of Excellence Schools awarded in 2021. With great enthusiasm, the school is eagerly applying for Internship Opportunity in Schneider Electric. For about 6 months, Mame Diarra THIAM, French intern from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, has been interning at Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. In the 4th week of July, she had the opportunity to present her final presentation of the EnergyLab project which develop simulation of pedagogical tools using EcoStruxure XR OA from Schneider Electric. Her study objects are EV Charger, PLC and Sensor.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received one more batch with 32 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in electrical, automation and renewable energy field. The trainees have done training during 6 weeks from May to June 2023 at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud.

Our Co-director and technical expert from France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to visit ASECH - Center of Excellence on Smart City in Bali. On this occasion, we had the opportunity to visit all facilities at the center of excellence on smart city.

On Tuesday 16 May 2023, France and Indonesia held a successful Governing Board Meeting (GBM) at the Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia). The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud), the Ministry of National Education and Youth, Schneider Electric Indonesia, the Schneider Electric Foundation and the French Embassy in Indonesia participated in this meeting.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is currently hosting Hanif Adjani Prasanna Putra, a student from Universitas Padjadjaran for a three (3) month internship from March to early May 2023, to carry out translations of educational resources. Indeed, Hanif is helping us to translate from French to Indonesian, the educational resources created by French experts from different CMQ (Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications) partners of the CoE. At the end of the day, teachers and students from vocational high schools (SMK), will be able to directly use practical activities adapted to the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy had an honor to receive Catoer Wibowo and Dintani Naimah from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH or commonly known as GIZ Indonesia & ASEAN on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Schneider Electric Cikarang Factory Plant conducted a recruitment test in some schools. The recruitment test process is conducted online and offline. On one hand, we held an offline recruitment test in SMKN 26 Jakarta, SMKM 1 Cikarang Selatan and SMKN 1 Adiwerna Tegal. On the other hand, we held an online recruitment test in SMKN 1 Cirebon. This recruitment test, which aim to help SMK students to obtain a job at Schneider Electric for the position of production operator and final quality control, awakening a lot of interest from the students.

We are pleased to announce the signing of a cooperation agreement in the form of a Technical Arrangement with the Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications génie civil et éco-construction en milieu tropical La Réunion. This agreement was signed on the one hand by the Director of Campus Eco-Construction et Numérique, Mr. Jean-Marc SPAMPANI. On other hand, by the Secretary Directorate General of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Mr. Saryadi Guyatno.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is honoured to had the opportunity to attend the Schneider Electric Business Partner Event in early March. On this occasion, we presented CoE EARE to Schneider Electric's business partners. The objective of our presence was to strengthen the links between all business partners and CoE in order to facilitate the access to internships or employment for our SMK partner students.

In order to strengthen cooperation between France and Indonesia, The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud were very thrilled to received special attention from Gwenaelle Avice-Huet, Global Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer of Schneider Electric Global through the courtesy visit Indonesia - France, Education Partnership on March 25, 2023.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was very delighted to have another opportunity to visit Schneider Electric Cikarang Factory with a delegation of 6 French experts from PlastiCampus Plasticampus Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications & Campus des métiers et des qualifications Microtechniques et Systèmes Intelligents and also with our students internships. The objective of the visit was to discuss about the skills and competency needed in the company, the virtual and augmented reality solutions and also the cooperation between private and sector public. In this occasion, our students internship had the opportunity to present a milestone of their work on the digitalization of training with XR OA software, named EnergyLab this time. French Delegation from CMQ PlastiCampus and Microtechniques & Systèmes Intelligents The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy & BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud were delighted to receive a delegation of 6 French experts from the Plasticampus Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications & Campus des métiers et des qualifications Microtechniques et Systèmes Intelligents who will be staying in Indonesia for 12 days. After 2 days in Jakarta, where the delegation was warmly received by the Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia) and the SMKN 26. The delegation is now at the CoE in Bandung. The objective of visit is to work on pedagogical ressources on Schneider Electric materials, create virtual platform for students & invite SMK teachers to do a training in France. We hope we can maximize the potential of this collaboration!

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received the batch 1 with 19 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Electrical Installation. The trainees will follow 4 weeks training course from February to March 2023. Our Co-Director and Technical Expert of France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the SENAR project with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees. Currently, we are analyzing the results of the feedback that we have distributed in several vocational high schools (SMK).

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is pleased to welcome Mame Diarra THIAM, a French engineering student from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon for 6 (six) months internship from February to early August 2023 for the EnergyLab project. EnergyLab is an advance software of XR Operator Advisor that allows us to manipulate Schneider Electric equipment with Augmented Reality technology. The idea of the project is to guide vocational school (SMK) teachers and students to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school. With the help of the intern, we would like to model the Electrical Installation, Industrial Automation and Renewable Energy equipment using EnergyLab. By using this application, we can elaborate a teaching scenario for SMK teachers on how to use the equipment for learning. In her first week of work, she participated in a SENAR application test at SMKN 1 Plered and introduced herself in front of the participants of training.

Our co-director and technical expert from France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to visit one of the schools renovated by HP Education. The objective of this visit is to continue our cooperation between CoE EARE, HP Education and SEI, for the equipment of a new laboratory. On this occasion, we were able to observe a primary school class with students in full activity and to get an idea of the materials that could be used in our laboratory. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received 19 vocational high school (SMK) technicians in Electrical Installation and Industrial Automation. The trainees will follow 2 weeks training course from January to February 2023 at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. Our Co-Director and Technical Expert of France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the SENAR project with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees. Currently, we are conducting trials in several vocational high schools (SMK) to get feedback on this application in education.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is pleased to welcome Michael Suhendra, an Indonesian engineering student from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, for a 6-month internship from February to August 2023. As part of this internship programme, he will work on the Energy Lab project. This project is a continuation of a previous project called XR Operator Advisor project which allows us to manipulate Schneider Electric equipment with augmented reality technology. The idea of the project is to provide a virtual reality assembly guide for newly employed operators in the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang. As part of this project, we had the opportunity to visit the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang again, in order to establish the precise objectives of the study. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Joko Sutopo and his team for the warm welcome they have always given us and we look forward to working with them again.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has conduct the fifth SENAR application test of the digital innovation technology based on Augmented Reality at vocational schools, SMKN 34 Jakarta. This month, we had an opportunity to conduct a second test on the digital learning innovation based on augmented reality application in another SMK in Bandung! In this activity, teachers actively participated and helped the students to understand more about learning in the fields of electricity, automation and renewable energy. During the experiment, we got a very positive response not only from the students but from the teachers as well. The teachers were amazed of this development of technology, especially in augmented reality. This learning innovation could enhance students’ motivation and facilitate students to practice learning wherever and whenever. Many thanks to all of teachers and students from SMK Negeri 4 Bandung for the management and the warm welcome. We are very delighted to work with Schneider Electric France and SENAR to drive innovation in education. We can’t wait to do another test at other schools!

The Centre of Excellence Receives a Visit from Government of Philippines It was an honor for The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from the Government of Philippines, Department of Science & Technology Region XI at Cimahi. This visit was supervised by Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of Electrical Department at BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. During this visit, we had an opportunity to showed all Schneider Electric equipment and also explained the utility of the equipments. The presentation followed by a discussion regarding the differences of developments in Indonesia and Phillippines. Thank you for the interesting discussion. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from teachers and students of 10th grade from SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. The purpose of the visit was to observe the Schneider Electric equipment in the CoE EARE laboratories and also to awakening the interest of students in the field of electricity, automation and renewable energy. The visit was supervised by our Co-Director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI. In this occasion, we had the opportunity to all Schneider Electric equipment in order to presented our facilities and laboratories provided at CoE EARE. Through this visit, we hope that the students will have a new interest in the fields!

This week, The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from Shikoku Nae hanbai Corp., UPTD Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Kejuruan (BPPK) Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan and Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (UIN Suska Riau). In order to develop competency assessment and laboratories, they intend to conduct comparative study visit on electricity, automation and renewable energy. This visit was supervised by our Master Trainer, Mr. Didi Kurniadi. In this occasion, he showed all Schneider Electric equipment and also explained the utility of the equipments. He gave a presentation related to the all of material and continued with a question and answer discussion session. Thank you for your visit, hope you enjoy it!

Yesterday was a big day for CoE EARE! The launch of a test phase of the SENAR Virtual Reality app in 10 Indonesian SMK. Using the SENAR app is as easy as watching a video on your phone. Mobile AR (Augmented Reality) is intuitive and can be used immediately, remotely or in the classroom. Trainees need only 30 seconds to familiarise themselves with the simple and user-friendly interface.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy team and the BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud team had the opportunity to visit the Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant on Thursday (24/11). We would like to thank Mr. Joko Sutopo, Director of Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant, who warmly received us and invited us to visit their plant. During this visit, we had the opportunity to learn about the latest system innovations, work culture, projects and new tools of Schneider Electric Cikarang as a smart factory. On this occasion, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to present our innovative projects in the field of educational learning, which aims to help students and teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment provided in vocational schools. We hope to collaborate soon in operator training using digital training tools. It was a great honour and pleasure to discuss our common training issues. We are looking forward to our first work together.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from SMK 1 Sukatani Purwakarta, West Java, to our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. This visit was supervised by Mr. Didi Kurniadi, our master trainer, and the CoE EARE team. During the visit we had the opportunity to present and explain our facilities and laboratories. On this occasion, our trainer demonstrated the operation of the systems to explain the usefulness of the equipment. Thank you for your visit, and we hope to have inspired some vocations in these young people!

On 8 November 2022, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the honour to meet with Mr. Chris Avrain, Business Development Director of Industrial Supply of Schneider Electric East Asia Japan and Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Business Development of Education of Schneider Electric Indonesia at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta. The objective of the visit was to discuss the contribution of software in education, as well as the important role of simulation in learning. The work already done with SENAR and XR OA, paves the way to new challenges for the CoE, especially with industrial supervision and expert automation software from AVEVA. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy hosted a visit from SMK 24 PGRI Jakarta on Tuesday (08/11). The students were accompanied by their two teachers and the aim of the visit was to motivate and raise the students' interest in the electrical, automation and renewable energy professions. As part of this, we presented the Schneider Electric equipment in our laboratory and the students were fascinated by the visit and surprised to see all these learning tools. At the end of the visit, they had the opportunity to test the equipment. What a pleasure to see them working in our laboratories! We hope that this visit will motivate the students to pursue their future career in this field!

Of course, one of the main objectives of the CoE is to increase the competence of students in SMK by training and equipping teachers. But it is also important for the CoE to - to listen to the expectations of the companies in terms of expected skills. - to propose internships to improve professionalization - to be interested in the employability of these students. - to take stock of current job offers. It is in this context that the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy warmly welcomed Mr. Joko Sutopo, Director of the Schneider Electric Cikarang plant and his team, on Friday 4 November 2022. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from SMKN 2 Bawang, Central Java to our office in our building (19/10/2022). The visit was supervised by our Master Trainers Mr. Tatang Sukendar & Mr. Didi Kurniadi. SMKN 2 Bawang is one of our project equipped schools in the field of industrial automation. So we were able to discuss about the use of Schneider Electric Indonesia equipment in this SMK and present our facilities and laboratories. On this occasion, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, co-director of CoE EARE, had the opportunity to present the projects of augmented and virtual reality applied to education. These innovative learning tools aim to help teachers and students of SMK to use the Schneider Electric equipment that has been received in their schools. CoE EARE will conduct several tests in the coming weeks to validate the proper functioning of these solutions in vocational high schools in Indonesia. We hope that this innovation will contribute to the electrical and automation skills of our students!

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy continues to build partnerships with universities in Indonesia. After signing an agreement with Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) for future actions, we had the honour to meet with Ms. Sri Rijati Wardiani, Head of the French Department of Universitas Padjadjaran, on 18 October. During this meeting, we discussed possible collaborative actions such as internships at CoE EARE with the Kampus Merdeka programme. Kampus Merdeka is part of the Merdeka Belajar policy of the Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia), which offers students the opportunity to hone their skills according to their talents and interests by immersing themselves directly into the world of work to prepare for their future careers. Based on this discussion, we plan to sign an agreement to legalise our partnership. Again, the promise of a great collaboration!

It was an honor for Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from teachers from SMKN 1 Cirebon, Jawa Barat at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, Friday (07/10/2022). The visit was received by Mr. Tatang Sukendar as the Master Trainer and the CoE EARE’s team. In this occasion, as usual we presented our facilites and laboratories in order to show and explain the utility of our equipment. The presentation was interesting and the teachers were amazed to see all this sophisticated equipment. Actually, SMKN 1 Cirebon is one of our equipped schools in the field of industrial automation. The purpose of the visit was to observe the equipment of the CoE EARE laboratories. Through this visit, we hoped that we could conduct other collaborations in other fields.

On September 26, 2022, Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy had an honor to receive the Energy Director from Schneider Electric Global, ABHIMANYU SAHU. The purpose of this visit was to observe the Schneider Electric equipment in the CoE EARE laboratories and to discuss further cooperation with Schneider Electric Indonesia. In addition, he also gave a feedback, shared the practice’s experience from another centre of excellence and planned the next possible actions in our strong collaboration. It was also the opportunity for us to show our educational work in augmented and virtual reality project. These learning innovation which are still in translate phase to Indonesian aims to help teacher to use the Schneider Electric equipment that has been received in their schools. Our Co-Director, Manuel AZIBI, will conduct several tests at some vocational schools in Indonesia.

The Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to meet with the Head of Staff, Strategy and Business Planning Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan HP Indonesia, Florence Lim Lai at our offices on 22 September 2022. The purpose of this visit was to present our projects, observe our laboratory equipment and discuss the opportunity for future cooperation between CoE EARE and HP Indonesia. On this occasion, HP Education presented its products and solutions for innovation in teaching and learning. It was also an opportunity to showcase our work in augmented and virtual reality as part of our skills dissemination projects in all 34 provinces of Indonesia. It was an honor for Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from students from SMKN 1 Banyuasin III Palembang, South Sumatra at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, Thursday (15/09/2022). The visit was received by Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of the Electrical Department and the team from CoE EARE. In this occasion, as usual we presented our facilites and laboratories in order to show and explain the utility of our equipment. The presentation was interesting and the students actively asked and listened to explanations about the equipment. For this visit, the students accompanied by their teachers with a purpose of visit was to seek a new insight and motivate their students to be able to obtain information about electricity, automation and renewable energy. Through this visit, we hoped that the students can pursue their education and career in this field!

The CoE project has already equipped 125 SMK across Indonesia. Some of these SMK have the possibility to become Regional Center of Excellence and disseminate their new skills and share their equipment with neighboring SMK. This is the case of SMKN 1 Tana Toraja and SMKN 2 Komodo who became RCoE after a one-week on-site training. We would like to thank our master trainer, Pak Tubagus Kurniawan, who conducted the training in these 2 SMK. The teachers were trained in the use of the equipment received and we hope that the trained teachers will be able to make an impact on the surrounding schools.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has started the training of 8 teachers from 8 vocational high schools (SMK) in Industrial Automation. The trainees have participated in this training for about 6 weeks training course from August to September 2022. We are pleased to welcome Analeila Devira Lorenzi, a new assistant at CoE EARE. In her second week on the job, she did a translation during the presentation process. On the other hand, the Co-Director Mr. Manuel AZIBI presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the projects with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees.

On 9th September 2022, The Electrical Engineering Study Program of the University Of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), precisely from CoE (Center of Excellence) Solar Power Plant (PLTS) just held a visit activity in order to seek the potential collaboration with Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. In this occasion, we had the opportunity to present our facilites and our equipment in order to establish the new cooperation such as internship at Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. We are looking forward for the further initiatives and establish future collaboration.

Release of Retired Staff in the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy Our Master Trainer, Pak Hadi, who has contributed so much to the success of our CoE EARE, is leaving us for a well-deserved retirement. The full team celebrated this event with speech remarks from members of the electricity department and closed with speech remarks from the Co-Director Mr. Manuel AZIBI. Pak Hadi was congratulated on his retirement and hoped that this retirement period can be enjoyed with a sense of happiness and joy. At the end of the event, Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of the Electrical Department gave an expression of love and gratitude which was reflected in the form of souvenirs from BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud.

For almost 4 months, Cédric Hénon, French intern from ESIROI [École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Réunion Océan Indien], has been interning at Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. In the 4th week of August, he had the opportunity to do his internship at Schneider Electric Indonesia's Head Office in Jakarta for a week. On 25 August 2022, the intern made a final presentation of the XR Operator Advisor project. We would like to thank Roberto Rossi and Astri Ramayanti Dharmawan for attending the final presentation. The XR OA project was initiated by Marie Castella (Innovative & Inclusive Training Lead from Schneider Electric France), supervised by Manuel AZIBI (Co-Director of CoE EARE) and supported by Aswita W. Saragih (Education Business Development from Schneider Electric Indonesia). We hope that this innovative project, which aims to test the use of XR OA software in education, will help learners in the future. Cédric Hénon is almost at the end of his internship. We would like to thank him for his hard work and we wish him all the best for his next steps !

Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is gaining recognition. The British Chambers of Commerce Indonesia was interested in visiting the CoE EARE facilities to explore energy access opportunities in Indonesia. However, for one reason or another, this visit was changed to virtual visit via Zoom. On 15 July 2022, CoE EARE had the opportunity to present the CoE Academy Project and the EcoStruxure XR Operator Advisor project for Renewable Energy equipment to delegates from BritCham Indonesia, Innovate UK, and several British companies engaged in the energy sector, such as Inclusive Energy, Blockchain & Climate Institute, CARNOT, dpSun, Ronsek Limited, ACELERON, Lind Electronics and STRAW INNOVATIONS LTD. We look forward to the delegates directly visiting CoE facilities in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud and building future collaborations.

Pada tanggal 12 Juli 2022, CoE EARE mendapat kehormatan untuk bertemu dengan Bapak Andika Putra Pratama, Kepala Hubungan Internasional di Institut Teknologi Bandung, dalam rangka memperluas kemitraan dengan beberapa universitas di Indonesia.

CoE EARE berpartisipasi dalam Gelar Vokasi 2022, yang diselenggarakan oleh BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. Banyak sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) dan perusahaan berpartisipasi dalam acara tersebut untuk menunjukkan produk inovatif mereka. Tujuan dari acara ini adalah untuk mempresentasikan kolaborasi antara pendidikan vokasi dan industri.

Pusat Keunggulan Bidang Listrik, Otomasi dan Energi Terbarukan memulai pelatihan 11 guru dari 9 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) jurusan Teknik Otomasi Industri (TOI). Para peserta pelatihan akan mengikuti pelatihan selama 6 minggu dari tanggal 22 Juni hingga 27 Juli 2022.

Menyusul Perayaan 125 SMK yang diperlengkapi, Pusat Keunggulan Bidang Listrik, Otomasi dan Energi Terbarukan melanjutkan mengadakan pelatihan bagi 15 guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik.

Pada tanggal 2 Juni 2022, Pusat Keunggulan Bidang Listrik, Otomasi, dan Energi Terbarukan merayakan 125 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang diperlengkapi hasil kerjasama Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia, Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Perancis dan Schneider Electric di SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Selatan.

Cedric Henon, mahasiswa magang Prancis dari ESIROI (Reunion Island dan Indian Ocean Engineering School), berhasil membuat model satu perangkat pengajaran Energi Terbarukan: Solar Home System, menggunakan perangkat lunak Schneider Electric, EcoStruxure XR Operator Advisor.

Dalam rangka kerjasama antara Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud dan CMQ Auto'Mobilités, Perancis, kami menerima Electric Vehicle Charger dari Schneider Electric Indonesia.

CoE EARE dengan senang hati menyambut Cedric Henon, mahasiswa sekolah teknik Prancis dari ESIROI (Reunion Island Indian Ocean Engineering School) untuk magang selama 4 bulan dari Mei hingga awal September 2022 untuk proyek EcoStruxure XR Operator Advisor.

CoE EARE meluncurkan platform komunitasnya dengan menggunakan aplikasi Discord untuk menghubungkan semua peserta training (guru dan teknisi sekolah kejuruan) dari awal proyek, Master Trainer, CoE EARE, dan Schneider Electric Indonesia.

Pada bulan Maret ini, CoE EARE kembali melanjutkan aktivitas utamanya dengan membuka pelatihan pertama di tahun 2022 bagi teknisi bengkel SMK.

Untuk program kerja tahun 2022, Pusat Keunggulan Bidang Listrik, Otomasi dan Energi Terbarukan berencana untuk memperluas kerjasamanya dengan beberapa Campus des métiers et des qualifications di Prancis. Campus des métiers et des qualifications atau CMQ adalah jaringan yang menyatukan semua pemangku kepentingan (sekolah menengah, lembaga pendidikan tinggi, organisasi pelatihan, laboratorium penelitian, perusahaan dan asosiasi) dalam suatu sektor kegiatan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan oleh industri.

Pada hari Jumat tanggal 18 Februari 2022, Schneider Electric Indonesia mengundang tim dari Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan Republik Indonesia untuk berkunjung ke Pusat Keunggulan Bidang Listrik, Otomasi dan Energi Terbarukan di Cimahi.

GFA Consulting Group kembali mengirimkan peserta pelatihan di Centre of Excellence. Kali ini, giliran instruktur dari Balai Latihan Kerja (BLK) yang akan mengikuti Advanced Training Solar Energy untuk durasi selama dua minggu terhitung mulai tanggal 14 hingga 25 Februari 2022.

GFA Group bekerja sama dengan CoE EARE untuk mengadakan pelatihan bagi dosen Politeknik dan instruktur Badan Latihan Kerja (BLK) di bidang Energi Terbarukan. Batch 1 dibuka pada tanggal 31 Januari 2022 untuk 12 dosen dari 6 Politeknik berbeda untuk energi surya level dasar.

GIZ mengadakan kunjungan ke Centre of Excellence EARE pada Jumat, 17 Desember 2021 dalam rangka diskusi kurikulum Pelatihan Energi Terbarukan, khususnya tenaga surya.

GFA Consulting Group yang didelegasikan oleh Kedubes Swiss diterima oleh Bapak Tubagus selaku Kepala Departemen Ketenagalistrikan BBPMPPV BMTI dan tim beserta Bapak Manuel selaku Co-director CoE EARE untuk kunjungan tanggal 16 Desember 2021

Dalam rangka supervisi SMK Pusat Keunggulan (PK) dari Kementrian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi, Co-director CoE EARE, Manuel Azibi bersama Kepala Departemen Ketenagalistrikan BBPPMPV BMTI, Tubagus Kurniawan, berkesempatan mengunjungi dua SMK di provinsi Riau pada 7 Desember 2021.

Pada hari Selasa, 23 November 2021, kami menerima siswa-siswi Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan dari SMK Islam Kawalu Tasikmalaya didampingi guru-gurunya untuk berkunjung ke tempat kami.

Pada tanggal 8 November 2021 pukul 08.30 di gedung CoE EARE BBPPMPV BMTI, dibuka Pelatihan Instalasi Listrik Angkatan ke-3

Pada tanggal 3 November 2021, Bapak Olivier Chambard selaku duta besar Perancis untuk Indonesia mengunjungi tempat kami di Kampus BBPPMPV BMTI Jl. Pesantren KM. 2, Cibabat, Cimahi Utara. Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk melihat pelatihan-pelatihan yang diadakan oleh Center of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy.

Cimahi – Sebanyak 4 SMK berpartisipasi dalam Diklat Industri Otomasi Gelombang pertama CoE EARE dari 4 Agustus – 14 September 2019 di Gedung CoE EARE, P4TK BMTI Bandung.

Cimahi – Sebanyak 14 Guru telah mengikuti Diklat Instalasi Listrik Gelombang ke-5 CoE EARE dari 7 Juli – 17 Agustus 2019 di Gedung CoE EARE, P4TK BMTI Bandung.

Cimahi – 50 Instalatir Listrik Jawa Barat telah disertifikasi oleh IATKI dari 8 – 15 Juli 2019 di Gedung CoE EARE, P4TK BMTI Bandung. Kegiatan ini merupakan program kerjasama antara Pemprov Jawa Barat dan International Copper Association (ICA) dalam program Jabar Energi Juara

The launch of the tenth link and match vocational education program in the West Java region this year involved 2,604 SMKs and 885 industries. This has exceeded the target made by the Ministry of Industry, involved 2,600 SMKs and 750 industries. The Expert Staff of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the field of Innovation and Competitiveness, Ananto Kusuma Seta, said that the launch was a follow-up action program for the cooperation agreement between the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, French Schneider Electric Foundation, and PT Schneider Indonesia.
