Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung (POLMAN Bandung)'s visit

The Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to meet with the Head of Staff, Strategy and Business Planning Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan HP Indonesia, Florence Lim Lai at our offices on 22 September 2022. The purpose of this visit was to present our projects, observe our laboratory equipment and discuss the opportunity for future cooperation between CoE EARE and HP Indonesia. On this occasion, HP Education presented its products and solutions for innovation in teaching and learning. It was also an opportunity to showcase our work in augmented and virtual reality as part of our skills dissemination projects in all 34 provinces of Indonesia. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from SMKN 2 Bawang, Central Java to our office in our building (19/10/2022). The visit was supervised by our Master Trainers Mr. Tatang Sukendar & Mr. Didi Kurniadi. SMKN 2 Bawang is one of our project equipped schools in the field of industrial automation. So we were able to discuss about the use of Schneider Electric Indonesia equipment in this SMK and present our facilities and laboratories. On this occasion, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, co-director of CoE EARE, had the opportunity to present the projects of augmented and virtual reality applied to education. These innovative learning tools aim to help teachers and students of SMK to use the Schneider Electric equipment that has been received in their schools. CoE EARE will conduct several tests in the coming weeks to validate the proper functioning of these solutions in vocational high schools in Indonesia. We hope that this innovation will contribute to the electrical and automation skills of our students!

This week, The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from Shikoku Nae hanbai Corp., UPTD Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Kejuruan (BPPK) Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Selatan and Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (UIN Suska Riau). In order to develop competency assessment and laboratories, they intend to conduct comparative study visit on electricity, automation and renewable energy. This visit was supervised by our Master Trainer, Mr. Didi Kurniadi. In this occasion, he showed all Schneider Electric equipment and also explained the utility of the equipments. He gave a presentation related to the all of material and continued with a question and answer discussion session. Thank you for your visit, hope you enjoy it!
