Visit from Schneider Electric Global

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has started the training of 8 teachers from 8 vocational high schools (SMK) in Industrial Automation. The trainees have participated in this training for about 6 weeks training course from August to September 2022. We are pleased to welcome Analeila Devira Lorenzi, a new assistant at CoE EARE. In her second week on the job, she did a translation during the presentation process. On the other hand, the Co-Director Mr. Manuel AZIBI presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the projects with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees.

On 8 November 2022, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the honour to meet with Mr. Chris Avrain, Business Development Director of Industrial Supply of Schneider Electric East Asia Japan and Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Business Development of Education of Schneider Electric Indonesia at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta. The objective of the visit was to discuss the contribution of software in education, as well as the important role of simulation in learning. The work already done with SENAR and XR OA, paves the way to new challenges for the CoE, especially with industrial supervision and expert automation software from AVEVA. Pada tanggal 2 Juni 2022, Pusat Keunggulan Bidang Listrik, Otomasi, dan Energi Terbarukan merayakan 125 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang diperlengkapi hasil kerjasama Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia, Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Perancis dan Schneider Electric di SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Selatan.
