Visit from Schneider Electric Global

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy continues to build partnerships with universities in Indonesia. After signing an agreement with Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) for future actions, we had the honour to meet with Ms. Sri Rijati Wardiani, Head of the French Department of Universitas Padjadjaran, on 18 October. During this meeting, we discussed possible collaborative actions such as internships at CoE EARE with the Kampus Merdeka programme. Kampus Merdeka is part of the Merdeka Belajar policy of the Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia), which offers students the opportunity to hone their skills according to their talents and interests by immersing themselves directly into the world of work to prepare for their future careers. Based on this discussion, we plan to sign an agreement to legalise our partnership. Again, the promise of a great collaboration!

West Sumatera at Schneider Electric Cikarang ETO Smart Factory SMKN 1 Sungai Rumbai is one of Industrial Automation Centre of Excellence Schools awarded in 2021. With great enthusiasm, the school is eagerly applying for Internship Opportunity in Schneider Electric. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received one more batch with 32 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in electrical, automation and renewable energy field. The trainees have done training during 6 weeks from May to June 2023 at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud.
