Visit from SMK 24 PGRI Jakarta

On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field. This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry. This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives. Pada tanggal 2 Juni 2022, Pusat Keunggulan Bidang Listrik, Otomasi, dan Energi Terbarukan merayakan 125 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang diperlengkapi hasil kerjasama Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia, Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional Pemuda dan Olahraga Republik Perancis dan Schneider Electric di SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Selatan.

On 8 November 2022, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the honour to meet with Mr. Chris Avrain, Business Development Director of Industrial Supply of Schneider Electric East Asia Japan and Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Business Development of Education of Schneider Electric Indonesia at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta. The objective of the visit was to discuss the contribution of software in education, as well as the important role of simulation in learning. The work already done with SENAR and XR OA, paves the way to new challenges for the CoE, especially with industrial supervision and expert automation software from AVEVA.
