Visit from SMKN 1 Banyuasin III, Palembang

Following cross-visits between Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB) and Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, we are currently preparing a collaborative programme between CoE EARE and POLMAN Bandung and neighbouring SMKs. As part of this programme, we plan to : - sharing laboratories to increase practical activities, - working together on educational projects for students - offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has conduct the fifth SENAR application test of the digital innovation technology based on Augmented Reality at vocational schools, SMKN 34 Jakarta. We would like to thank the principal, the teachers, the staff and the students for the warmly welcomed and wonderful hospitality. We are delighted to welcome the Director general of vocational schools (SMK), Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia), Mr. Wardani Sugiyanto attend this event with Mr. Manuel AZIBI from France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse. In this occasion, Mr. Wardani had the opportunity to try the SENAR application. Therefore, the business and work in the field of applications are needed. This application could bring students to learn how to utilize an equipment through simulator, especially in the electrical, automation and renewable energy field. We would like to thank the presence of the International technical Expert in Vocational Education, Ms. Agnès Dovert, the Secretary General of Indonesian Ministry of Education team and Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia) team who attend this event. Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has the pleasure to announce that we welcome two new interns from the French Literature Department of Universitas Padjadjaran as the two parties developed an alliance through this internship program. As a result to this partnership, we provide an offer for French Literature students from Unpad to work in a professional environment where they could perform their French language skill in supporting CoE EARE to achieve our goals and participating in amelioration of vocational students skill regarding electrical engineering. From September to December 2023, the two mentioned interns, Theresia Melanie and Gregorius Dhanu Dewa Wiceca Dhanu will be responsible for learning modules translations from French into Bahasa Indonesia which are prepared by French experts from Schneider for SMK’ teachers and our numerous partners. It is to be hoped that CoE will not only appear in assisting vocational schools, but also all the related universities under Kemendikbud Indonesia.
