Visit from SMKN 1 Banyuasin III, Palembang

Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is gaining recognition. The British Chambers of Commerce Indonesia was interested in visiting the CoE EARE facilities to explore energy access opportunities in Indonesia. However, for one reason or another, this visit was changed to virtual visit via Zoom. On 15 July 2022, CoE EARE had the opportunity to present the CoE Academy Project and the EcoStruxure XR Operator Advisor project for Renewable Energy equipment to delegates from BritCham Indonesia, Innovate UK, and several British companies engaged in the energy sector, such as Inclusive Energy, Blockchain & Climate Institute, CARNOT, dpSun, Ronsek Limited, ACELERON, Lind Electronics and STRAW INNOVATIONS LTD. We look forward to the delegates directly visiting CoE facilities in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud and building future collaborations.

Of course, one of the main objectives of the CoE is to increase the competence of students in SMK by training and equipping teachers. But it is also important for the CoE to - to listen to the expectations of the companies in terms of expected skills. - to propose internships to improve professionalization - to be interested in the employability of these students. - to take stock of current job offers. It is in this context that the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy warmly welcomed Mr. Joko Sutopo, Director of the Schneider Electric Cikarang plant and his team, on Friday 4 November 2022. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from teachers and students of 10th grade from SMK Negeri 1 Jakarta at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. The purpose of the visit was to observe the Schneider Electric equipment in the CoE EARE laboratories and also to awakening the interest of students in the field of electricity, automation and renewable energy. The visit was supervised by our Co-Director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI. In this occasion, we had the opportunity to all Schneider Electric equipment in order to presented our facilities and laboratories provided at CoE EARE. Through this visit, we hope that the students will have a new interest in the fields!
