Visit from SMKN 1 Banyuasin III, Palembang

It was an honor for Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from students from SMKN 1 Banyuasin III Palembang, South Sumatra at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, Thursday (15/09/2022). The visit was received by Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of the Electrical Department and the team from CoE EARE. In this occasion, as usual we presented our facilites and laboratories in order to show and explain the utility of our equipment. The presentation was interesting and the students actively asked and listened to explanations about the equipment.

For this visit, the students accompanied by their teachers with a purpose of visit was to seek a new insight and motivate their students to be able to obtain information about electricity, automation and renewable energy. Through this visit, we hoped that the students can pursue their education and career in this field!

Recruitment Test by Schneider Electric Cikarang

Schneider Electric Cikarang Factory Plant conducted a recruitment test in some schools. The recruitment test process is conducted online and offline. On one hand, we held an offline recruitment test in SMKN 26 Jakarta, SMKM 1 Cikarang Selatan and SMKN 1 Adiwerna Tegal. On the other hand, we held an online recruitment test in SMKN 1 Cirebon. This recruitment test, which aim to help SMK students to obtain a job at Schneider Electric for the position of production operator and final quality control, awakening a lot of interest from the students.

Student Intern at CoE EARE for Translation Job

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is currently hosting Hanif Adjani Prasanna Putra, a student from Universitas Padjadjaran for a three (3) month internship from March to early May 2023, to carry out translations of educational resources. Indeed, Hanif is helping us to translate from French to Indonesian, the educational resources created by French experts from different CMQ (Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications) partners of the CoE. At the end of the day, teachers and students from vocational high schools (SMK), will be able to directly use practical activities adapted to the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school. Visit to classroom of the future by HP Education

Our co-director and technical expert from France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to visit one of the schools renovated by HP Education. The objective of this visit is to continue our cooperation between CoE EARE, HP Education and SEI, for the equipment of a new laboratory. On this occasion, we were able to observe a primary school class with students in full activity and to get an idea of the materials that could be used in our laboratory. We would like to thank Aswita W. Saragih Florence Lim Lai Alvin Reza Keany Edessias and all the members of Baru State Elementary School 1 for this wonderful visit. And a big thank you to all the students for their warm welcome!
