Visit to ASECH (Center of Excellence on Smart City) Bali

On September 26, 2022, Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy had an honor to receive the Energy Director from Schneider Electric Global, ABHIMANYU SAHU. The purpose of this visit was to observe the Schneider Electric equipment in the CoE EARE laboratories and to discuss further cooperation with Schneider Electric Indonesia. In addition, he also gave a feedback, shared the practice’s experience from another centre of excellence and planned the next possible actions in our strong collaboration. It was also the opportunity for us to show our educational work in augmented and virtual reality project. These learning innovation which are still in translate phase to Indonesian aims to help teacher to use the Schneider Electric equipment that has been received in their schools. Our Co-Director, Manuel AZIBI, will conduct several tests at some vocational schools in Indonesia.

Our co-director, Manuel AZIBI, finally met the Schneider Electric France team. It was a pleasure to meet the team in person after working together on virtual reality and augmented reality project. In this team, we were able to meet Cédric Hénon, who was our student intern at the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy for about 4 months in 2022 and who continues to work for Schneider Electric. Following cross-visits between Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB) and Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, we are currently preparing a collaborative programme between CoE EARE and POLMAN Bandung and neighbouring SMKs. As part of this programme, we plan to : - sharing laboratories to increase practical activities, - working together on educational projects for students - offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality.
