Visit to ASECH (Center of Excellence on Smart City) Bali

The CoE project has already equipped 125 SMK across Indonesia. Some of these SMK have the possibility to become Regional Center of Excellence and disseminate their new skills and share their equipment with neighboring SMK. This is the case of SMKN 1 Tana Toraja and SMKN 2 Komodo who became RCoE after a one-week on-site training. We would like to thank our master trainer, Pak Tubagus Kurniawan, who conducted the training in these 2 SMK. The teachers were trained in the use of the equipment received and we hope that the trained teachers will be able to make an impact on the surrounding schools.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was very delighted to have another opportunity to visit Schneider Electric Cikarang Factory with a delegation of 6 French experts from PlastiCampus Plasticampus Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications & Campus des métiers et des qualifications Microtechniques et Systèmes Intelligents and also with our students internships. The objective of the visit was to discuss about the skills and competency needed in the company, the virtual and augmented reality solutions and also the cooperation between private and sector public. In this occasion, our students internship had the opportunity to present a milestone of their work on the digitalization of training with XR OA software, named EnergyLab this time. Following cross-visits between Politeknik Manufaktur Bandung Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB) and Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, we are currently preparing a collaborative programme between CoE EARE and POLMAN Bandung and neighbouring SMKs. As part of this programme, we plan to : - sharing laboratories to increase practical activities, - working together on educational projects for students - offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality.
