Visit to ASECH (Center of Excellence on Smart City) Bali

On 8 November 2022, our co-director, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, had the honour to meet with Mr. Chris Avrain, Business Development Director of Industrial Supply of Schneider Electric East Asia Japan and Mrs. Aswita W. Saragih, Business Development of Education of Schneider Electric Indonesia at Schneider Electric Indonesia headquarters in Jakarta. The objective of the visit was to discuss the contribution of software in education, as well as the important role of simulation in learning. The work already done with SENAR and XR OA, paves the way to new challenges for the CoE, especially with industrial supervision and expert automation software from AVEVA. It was an honor for Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from teachers from SMKN 1 Cirebon, Jawa Barat at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, Friday (07/10/2022). The visit was received by Mr. Tatang Sukendar as the Master Trainer and the CoE EARE’s team. In this occasion, as usual we presented our facilites and laboratories in order to show and explain the utility of our equipment. The presentation was interesting and the teachers were amazed to see all this sophisticated equipment. Actually, SMKN 1 Cirebon is one of our equipped schools in the field of industrial automation. The purpose of the visit was to observe the equipment of the CoE EARE laboratories. Through this visit, we hoped that we could conduct other collaborations in other fields.

Schneider Electric, as a global company in the digital transformation of energy management and transformation, collaborated with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to establish the Centre of Excellence in Electricity, Automation, and Renewable Energy. The Expert Staff of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the field of Innovation and Competitiveness, Ananto Kusuma Seta, said that the launch was a follow-up action program for the cooperation agreement between the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, French Schneider Electric Foundation, and PT Schneider Indonesia.
