Visit to ASECH (Center of Excellence on Smart City) Bali

The Co-Director of the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy, Manuel AZIBI, had the opportunity to meet with the Head of Staff, Strategy and Business Planning Indonesia, Philippines, Pakistan HP Indonesia, Florence Lim Lai at our offices on 22 September 2022. The purpose of this visit was to present our projects, observe our laboratory equipment and discuss the opportunity for future cooperation between CoE EARE and HP Indonesia. On this occasion, HP Education presented its products and solutions for innovation in teaching and learning. It was also an opportunity to showcase our work in augmented and virtual reality as part of our skills dissemination projects in all 34 provinces of Indonesia. Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has the pleasure to announce that we welcome two new interns from the French Literature Department of Universitas Padjadjaran as the two parties developed an alliance through this internship program. As a result to this partnership, we provide an offer for French Literature students from Unpad to work in a professional environment where they could perform their French language skill in supporting CoE EARE to achieve our goals and participating in amelioration of vocational students skill regarding electrical engineering. From September to December 2023, the two mentioned interns, Theresia Melanie and Gregorius Dhanu Dewa Wiceca Dhanu will be responsible for learning modules translations from French into Bahasa Indonesia which are prepared by French experts from Schneider for SMK’ teachers and our numerous partners. It is to be hoped that CoE will not only appear in assisting vocational schools, but also all the related universities under Kemendikbud Indonesia.

Release of Retired Staff in the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy Our Master Trainer, Pak Hadi, who has contributed so much to the success of our CoE EARE, is leaving us for a well-deserved retirement. The full team celebrated this event with speech remarks from members of the electricity department and closed with speech remarks from the Co-Director Mr. Manuel AZIBI. Pak Hadi was congratulated on his retirement and hoped that this retirement period can be enjoyed with a sense of happiness and joy. At the end of the event, Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of the Electrical Department gave an expression of love and gratitude which was reflected in the form of souvenirs from BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud.
