The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was delighted to welcome the delegation from New Caledonia, accompanied by Bernadette Thomas, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse (MENJ) and Mathilde Croquet, Institut Français Indonesia (IFI). We were able to present the CoE's project on our premises hosted by BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, as well as to visit our valued partner, SMKN 1 Cimahi for a constructive exchange with the teaching teams and students. The delegation from New Caledonia, comprising : Didier VIN-DATICHE Vice-Rector Isabel ARELLANO, European and international relations and cooperating / Cultural and artistic action Sabrina ELMOUR, National Education inspector for Literature and English Frank COGNET, National Education Inspector for Technical Education Christophe BERGER, Headmaster from Auguste Escoffier High School Who carried out this exploratory mission to build educational cooperation in several vocational specialties. The possibilities are numerous, thanks to the geniality of the SMKN 1 Cimahi and Ibu Dewi (Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat) teams. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy continues to build partnerships with universities in Indonesia. After signing an agreement with Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) for future actions, we had the honour to meet with Ms. Sri Rijati Wardiani, Head of the French Department of Universitas Padjadjaran, on 18 October. During this meeting, we discussed possible collaborative actions such as internships at CoE EARE with the Kampus Merdeka programme. Kampus Merdeka is part of the Merdeka Belajar policy of the Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia), which offers students the opportunity to hone their skills according to their talents and interests by immersing themselves directly into the world of work to prepare for their future careers. Based on this discussion, we plan to sign an agreement to legalise our partnership. Again, the promise of a great collaboration!

After spending the first week with Campus des métiers et des qualifications PlastiCampus, we had an opportunity to spend another week with Campus des métiers et des qualifications Microtechniques et Systèmes Intelligents On this occasion, we visited several vocational schools and French industries in order to exchange with them regarding the formation proposed, practical activity, teaching method and also study & work manner.
