Centre of Excellence received 10 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Electrical Installation Batch 2. The trainees will follow 6 weeks training course starting from 14 July 2022.
We had the occasion to present the CoE EARE project, the French educational system, the SENAR project and the EcoStruxure XR Operator Advisor project that our intern is working on. The trainees were very interested in knowing more about vocational education in France to improve their teaching methods.
CoE EARE is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant and one of CoE's SMKs, SMKN 2 Bawang. This partnership represents a successful collaboration between industry and vocational schools. The aim of the partnership is to increase employee engagement through student internships, employment opportunities and on-the-job training for teachers. In terms of education, we organise seminars or sharing sessions with experts and we establish links with the curriculum, so that teachers and students can familiarise themselves with Schneider Electric's tools and standards of work (SOPs). As a result, they will be better prepared to work in SE.
The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was very delighted to have another opportunity to visit Schneider Electric Cikarang Factory with a delegation of 6 French experts from PlastiCampus Plasticampus Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications & Campus des métiers et des qualifications Microtechniques et Systèmes Intelligents and also with our students internships. The objective of the visit was to discuss about the skills and competency needed in the company, the virtual and augmented reality solutions and also the cooperation between private and sector public. In this occasion, our students internship had the opportunity to present a milestone of their work on the digitalization of training with XR OA software, named EnergyLab this time. On 9th September 2022, The Electrical Engineering Study Program of the University Of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), precisely from CoE (Center of Excellence) Solar Power Plant (PLTS) just held a visit activity in order to seek the potential collaboration with Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. In this occasion, we had the opportunity to present our facilites and our equipment in order to establish the new cooperation such as internship at Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. We are looking forward for the further initiatives and establish future collaboration.
