Schneider Electric, as a global company in the digital transformation of energy management and transformation, collaborated with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to establish the Centre of Excellence in Electricity, Automation, and Renewable Energy. The Expert Staff of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the field of Innovation and Competitiveness, Ananto Kusuma Seta, said that the launch was a follow-up action program for the cooperation agreement between the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture, the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, French Schneider Electric Foundation, and PT Schneider Indonesia.
Our co-director, Manuel AZIBI, finally met the Schneider Electric France team. It was a pleasure to meet the team in person after working together on virtual reality and augmented reality project. In this team, we were able to meet Cédric Hénon, who was our student intern at the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy for about 4 months in 2022 and who continues to work for Schneider Electric. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received the batch 1 with 19 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Electrical Installation. The trainees will follow 4 weeks training course from February to March 2023. Our Co-Director and Technical Expert of France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse, Mr. Manuel AZIBI, presented the CoE EARE project and the French education system. He also demonstrated the SENAR project with Virtual Reality for learning. These learning innovations, which aim to help SMK teachers to use the Schneider Electric equipment received in their schools, awakening a lot of interest from the trainees. Currently, we are analyzing the results of the feedback that we have distributed in several vocational high schools (SMK).
