Governing Board Meeting (GBM)

On Tuesday 16 May 2023, France and Indonesia held a successful Governing Board Meeting (GBM) at the Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia). The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud), the Ministry of National Education and Youth, Schneider Electric Indonesia, the Schneider Electric Foundation and the French Embassy in Indonesia participated in this meeting.

This event, moderated by Ms. Agnès Dovert, International Technical Expert at the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, included valuable contributions from :

Agreement of Collaboration between CoE EARE & POLMAN Bandung

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB). Professor Pipit Anggraeni, Vice President of Academic Affairs signed the document with Manuel AZIBI, CoE EARE’s co-director. In the future, we will work together to increase practical activities, on educational projects for students and also offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality. The agreement collaboration covers areas of cooperation related to, such as : - sharing laboratories to explore more laboratory practical activities - collaborative learning, work on projects can enhance student learning - offering students internships that can enhance student in professional experience We would like to thank Pipit Anggraeni, Mohammad Nurdin, Setyawan Ajie Sukarno, Nuryanti Sumarno, Hilda Khoirunnisa & Dini Hadiani for the warm welcome and amazing hospitality!

Release of Retired Staff in the CoE EARE

Release of Retired Staff in the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy Our Master Trainer, Pak Hadi, who has contributed so much to the success of our CoE EARE, is leaving us for a well-deserved retirement. The full team celebrated this event with speech remarks from members of the electricity department and closed with speech remarks from the Co-Director Mr. Manuel AZIBI. Pak Hadi was congratulated on his retirement and hoped that this retirement period can be enjoyed with a sense of happiness and joy. At the end of the event, Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of the Electrical Department gave an expression of love and gratitude which was reflected in the form of souvenirs from BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud.

Visit from Schneider Electric Cikarang

Of course, one of the main objectives of the CoE is to increase the competence of students in SMK by training and equipping teachers. But it is also important for the CoE to - to listen to the expectations of the companies in terms of expected skills. - to propose internships to improve professionalization - to be interested in the employability of these students. - to take stock of current job offers. It is in this context that the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy warmly welcomed Mr. Joko Sutopo, Director of the Schneider Electric Cikarang plant and his team, on Friday 4 November 2022. Thank you for the fruitful visit and discussion. We look forward to our future collaboration!
