6 vocational schools become regional center of excellence (RCoE)

Of the 144 vocational high schools equipped by our project, some are becoming Regional Centres of Excellence (RCoE).
Last month, 6 new schools became RCoEs:
- SMKN 2 Kendal
- SMKN 4 Lebong
- SMKN 1 Cirebon
- SMKN 2 Samarinda
- SMKN 2 Bawang
- SMKN 2 Tebing Tinggi
As a result of these new RCoE, who have just received a week's additional training, we hope to continue providing skills in Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy to many neighbouring high schools.
All this training is based on Schneider Electric equipment received during the various phases of the project.

We would like to thank our master trainers, Pak Tubagus Kurniawan and Pak Didi Kurniadi, for these 6 high quality on-site trainings.

Indeed, Hanif is helping us to translate from French to Indonesian, the educational resources created by French experts from different CMQ (Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications) partners of the CoE. At the end of the day, teachers and students from vocational high schools (SMK), will be able to directly use practical activities adapted to the Schneider Electric equipment received in their school. ITB Student at CoE EARE for EnergyLab

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is pleased to welcome Michael Suhendra, an Indonesian engineering student from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, for a 6-month internship from February to August 2023. As part of this internship programme, he will work on the Energy Lab project. This project is a continuation of a previous project called XR Operator Advisor project which allows us to manipulate Schneider Electric equipment with augmented reality technology. The idea of the project is to provide a virtual reality assembly guide for newly employed operators in the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang. As part of this project, we had the opportunity to visit the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang again, in order to establish the precise objectives of the study. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Joko Sutopo and his team for the warm welcome they have always given us and we look forward to working with them again.

Final Presentation of XR Operator Advisor Project

For almost 4 months, Cédric Hénon, French intern from ESIROI [École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Réunion Océan Indien], has been interning at Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy. In the 4th week of August, he had the opportunity to do his internship at Schneider Electric Indonesia's Head Office in Jakarta for a week. On 25 August 2022, the intern made a final presentation of the XR Operator Advisor project. We would like to thank Roberto Rossi and Astri Ramayanti Dharmawan for attending the final presentation. The XR OA project was initiated by Marie Castella (Innovative & Inclusive Training Lead from Schneider Electric France), supervised by Manuel AZIBI (Co-Director of CoE EARE) and supported by Aswita W. Saragih (Education Business Development from Schneider Electric Indonesia). We hope that this innovative project, which aims to test the use of XR OA software in education, will help learners in the future. Cédric Hénon is almost at the end of his internship. We would like to thank him for his hard work and we wish him all the best for his next steps !
