6 vocational schools become regional center of excellence (RCoE)

On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field. This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry. This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives. Schneider Electric hadir dengan program Teacher Mission 2023 untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan vokasi di Indonesia, khususnya dalam bidang teknologi kelistrikan dan keberlanjutan. Materi yang disajikan mencakup keahlian utama (hard skill) dan keahlian pendukung (soft skill) sehingga para siswa SMK dapat siap menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja yang semakin kompleks.

It was an honor for Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from teachers from SMKN 1 Cirebon, Jawa Barat at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, Friday (07/10/2022). The visit was received by Mr. Tatang Sukendar as the Master Trainer and the CoE EARE’s team. In this occasion, as usual we presented our facilites and laboratories in order to show and explain the utility of our equipment. The presentation was interesting and the teachers were amazed to see all this sophisticated equipment. Actually, SMKN 1 Cirebon is one of our equipped schools in the field of industrial automation. The purpose of the visit was to observe the equipment of the CoE EARE laboratories. Through this visit, we hoped that we could conduct other collaborations in other fields.
