Visit from Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang

The CoE project has already equipped 125 SMK across Indonesia. Some of these SMK have the possibility to become Regional Center of Excellence and disseminate their new skills and share their equipment with neighboring SMK. This is the case of SMKN 1 Tana Toraja and SMKN 2 Komodo who became RCoE after a one-week on-site training. We would like to thank our master trainer, Pak Tubagus Kurniawan, who conducted the training in these 2 SMK. The teachers were trained in the use of the equipment received and we hope that the trained teachers will be able to make an impact on the surrounding schools.

Our co-director, Manuel AZIBI, finally met the Schneider Electric France team. It was a pleasure to meet the team in person after working together on virtual reality and augmented reality project. In this team, we were able to meet Cédric Hénon, who was our student intern at the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy for about 4 months in 2022 and who continues to work for Schneider Electric. It was an honor for Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from teachers from SMKN 1 Cirebon, Jawa Barat at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, Friday (07/10/2022). The visit was received by Mr. Tatang Sukendar as the Master Trainer and the CoE EARE’s team. In this occasion, as usual we presented our facilites and laboratories in order to show and explain the utility of our equipment. The presentation was interesting and the teachers were amazed to see all this sophisticated equipment. Actually, SMKN 1 Cirebon is one of our equipped schools in the field of industrial automation. The purpose of the visit was to observe the equipment of the CoE EARE laboratories. Through this visit, we hoped that we could conduct other collaborations in other fields.
