"Link and Match" Vocational Education between Vocational Schools and Industry Exceeds Target

The Centre of Excellence Receives a Visit from Government of Philippines It was an honor for The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received a visit from the Government of Philippines, Department of Science & Technology Region XI at Cimahi. This visit was supervised by Mr. Tubagus Kurniawan as the Head of Electrical Department at BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud. During this visit, we had an opportunity to showed all Schneider Electric equipment and also explained the utility of the equipments. The presentation followed by a discussion regarding the differences of developments in Indonesia and Phillippines. Thank you for the interesting discussion. Schneider Electric Cikarang Factory Plant conducted a recruitment test in some schools. The recruitment test process is conducted online and offline. On one hand, we held an offline recruitment test in SMKN 26 Jakarta, SMKM 1 Cikarang Selatan and SMKN 1 Adiwerna Tegal. On the other hand, we held an online recruitment test in SMKN 1 Cirebon. This recruitment test, which aim to help SMK students to obtain a job at Schneider Electric for the position of production operator and final quality control, awakening a lot of interest from the students.

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new partnership agreement between the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy and Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bandung (PMS-ITB). Professor Pipit Anggraeni, Vice President of Academic Affairs signed the document with Manuel AZIBI, CoE EARE’s co-director. In the future, we will work together to increase practical activities, on educational projects for students and also offering internships, particularly in virtual and augmented reality. The agreement collaboration covers areas of cooperation related to, such as : - sharing laboratories to explore more laboratory practical activities - collaborative learning, work on projects can enhance student learning - offering students internships that can enhance student in professional experience We would like to thank Pipit Anggraeni, Mohammad Nurdin, Setyawan Ajie Sukarno, Nuryanti Sumarno, Hilda Khoirunnisa & Dini Hadiani for the warm welcome and amazing hospitality!
