Workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” by Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant

On August, Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant held a workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” at SMKN 1 Cikarang Selatan, one of CoE’s SMK in automation field.

This workshop aims to harmonize approaches to work-based learning in the vocational school. Through this workshop, the students will be able to know the work environnement and some skills needed in industry.

This type of initiative is highly complementary to our CoE EARE training initiatives.

CoE EARE meeting with Schneider Electric France

Our co-director, Manuel AZIBI, finally met the Schneider Electric France team. It was a pleasure to meet the team in person after working together on virtual reality and augmented reality project. In this team, we were able to meet Cédric Hénon, who was our student intern at the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy for about 4 months in 2022 and who continues to work for Schneider Electric. French Ambassador’s Visit at CoE EARE Bandung

On November 3rd 2021, Mr. Olivier Chambard as the French ambassador to Indonesia, visited our premises at Campus BBPPMPV BMTI Jl. Pesantren KM. 2, Cibabat, Cimahi Utara. This visit aims to observe the trainings held by Center of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy.

Visit from SMK 24 PGRI Jakarta

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy hosted a visit from SMK 24 PGRI Jakarta on Tuesday (08/11). The students were accompanied by their two teachers and the aim of the visit was to motivate and raise the students' interest in the electrical, automation and renewable energy professions. As part of this, we presented the Schneider Electric equipment in our laboratory and the students were fascinated by the visit and surprised to see all these learning tools. At the end of the visit, they had the opportunity to test the equipment. What a pleasure to see them working in our laboratories! We hope that this visit will motivate the students to pursue their future career in this field!
