Workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” by Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy has conduct the fifth SENAR application test of the digital innovation technology based on Augmented Reality at vocational schools, SMKN 34 Jakarta. We would like to thank the principal, the teachers, the staff and the students for the warmly welcomed and wonderful hospitality. We are delighted to welcome the Director general of vocational schools (SMK), Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia), Mr. Wardani Sugiyanto attend this event with Mr. Manuel AZIBI from France Éducation international, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse. In this occasion, Mr. Wardani had the opportunity to try the SENAR application. We are so proud to be published in the article on this following link : https://lnkd.in/gNWifgNu According to the director of vocational school (SMK), Mr. Wardani Sugiyanto, the development of electronics today is relatively fast because it has begun to combine with Information Technology (IT). Therefore, the business and work in the field of applications are needed. This application could bring students to learn how to utilize an equipment through simulator, especially in the electrical, automation and renewable energy field. We would like to thank the presence of the International technical Expert in Vocational Education, Ms. Agnès Dovert, the Secretary General of Indonesian Ministry of Education team and Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Ministry of Education and Culture Republic of Indonesia) team who attend this event. On September 26, 2022, Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy had an honor to receive the Energy Director from Schneider Electric Global, ABHIMANYU SAHU. The purpose of this visit was to observe the Schneider Electric equipment in the CoE EARE laboratories and to discuss further cooperation with Schneider Electric Indonesia. In addition, he also gave a feedback, shared the practice’s experience from another centre of excellence and planned the next possible actions in our strong collaboration. It was also the opportunity for us to show our educational work in augmented and virtual reality project. These learning innovation which are still in translate phase to Indonesian aims to help teacher to use the Schneider Electric equipment that has been received in their schools. Our Co-Director, Manuel AZIBI, will conduct several tests at some vocational schools in Indonesia.

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy received one more batch with 32 vocational high school (SMK) teachers in electrical, automation and renewable energy field. The trainees have done training during 6 weeks from May to June 2023 at our office located in BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud.
