Workshop on “Curriculum Adaptation and Industrial Work Culture for Student Competency Improvement” by Schneider Electric Cikarang Plant

Of course, one of the main objectives of the CoE is to increase the competence of students in SMK by training and equipping teachers. But it is also important for the CoE to - to listen to the expectations of the companies in terms of expected skills. - to propose internships to improve professionalization - to be interested in the employability of these students. - to take stock of current job offers. It is in this context that the Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy warmly welcomed Mr. Joko Sutopo, Director of the Schneider Electric Cikarang plant and his team, on Friday 4 November 2022. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is starting the training of 11 teachers from 9 vocational high schools (SMK) in Industrial Automation. The trainees will follow 6 weeks training course from 22 June to 27 July 2022.

Cedric Henon, a French intern from ESIROI (Reunion Island and Indian Ocean Engineering School), successfully modeled one Renewable Energy teaching set : the Solar Home System, using Schneider Electric’s software, EcoStruxure XR Operator Advisor.
