Visit to Schneider Electric Cikarang Factory with the French Delegation

The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy was delighted to welcome the delegation from New Caledonia, accompanied by Bernadette Thomas, Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse (MENJ) and Mathilde Croquet, Institut Français Indonesia (IFI). We were able to present the CoE's project on our premises hosted by BBPPMPV BMTI Kemdikbud, as well as to visit our valued partner, SMKN 1 Cimahi for a constructive exchange with the teaching teams and students. The delegation from New Caledonia, comprising : Didier VIN-DATICHE Vice-Rector Isabel ARELLANO, European and international relations and cooperating / Cultural and artistic action Sabrina ELMOUR, National Education inspector for Literature and English Frank COGNET, National Education Inspector for Technical Education Christophe BERGER, Headmaster from Auguste Escoffier High School Who carried out this exploratory mission to build educational cooperation in several vocational specialties. The possibilities are numerous, thanks to the geniality of the SMKN 1 Cimahi and Ibu Dewi (Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat) teams. The Centre of Excellence for Electricity, Automation and Renewable Energy is pleased to welcome Michael Suhendra, an Indonesian engineering student from the Institut Teknologi Bandung, for a 6-month internship from February to August 2023. As part of this internship programme, he will work on the Energy Lab project. This project is a continuation of a previous project called XR Operator Advisor project which allows us to manipulate Schneider Electric equipment with augmented reality technology. The idea of the project is to provide a virtual reality assembly guide for newly employed operators in the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang. As part of this project, we had the opportunity to visit the Schneider Electric plant in Cikarang again, in order to establish the precise objectives of the study. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Joko Sutopo and his team for the warm welcome they have always given us and we look forward to working with them again.
